Come on then boys & girls. Let's see if the current positive atmosphere has made us truly optimistic. How about predicting the points haul for October. That's my prediction:
Accrington A : 3 points
Shrewsbury H : 3 points
Cambridge A : 3 points
Portsmouth A : 1 point
Fleetwood H : 3 points
Plymouth A : 3 points
Total : 16 points & in 4th place.

Five wins from those available games would seem a touch fanciful. Nothing wrong with being idealistic, however like to weigh up the possibilities before jumping in without due consideration. Taking a moment to view league standings and other relevant factors :
Accrington Away : 1 point
Shrewsbury Home : 3 points
Cambridge Away : 1 point
Portsmouth Away : 0 points
Fleetwood Home : 3 points
PAFC Away : 0 points
Think that's a fair reasoning. Would be good, very good, to take maximum availability from the above but in all truth it's too impractical to entertain.

Only the Pompey game really concerns me. They always seem to be a jinx side and there’ll be a bit of niggle going into the game, especially after the Jacobs business.
4 wins, a draw and a loss for me. 13 points. I’m expecting the wheels to come off Plymouth at some stage so we could meet them at the right time.

Am with you on this Marko. A high(ish) scoring win and a clean sheet against Accrington could see us start out on a fantastic run. Should not fear anyone there, but as Tang mentioned, the "Jacobs saga" could make the Pompey game quite tasty and certainly Cowley has had a lot to say about us! Cambridge will see this as a potential local scalp and so perhaps should be the ones to be most wary of!
Have to say it is not very comfortable sitting on this fence!

A few weeks ago I said there were signs that sooner or later the team would click and give someone a right thrashing followed by a winning streak. Maybe Tuesday was the beginning of my prediction so I’ll go for 6 straight wins, that really would be outrageous and whilst it’s highly unlikely this team is very unpredictable. Let’s just enjoy the journey because I can’t remember looking forward to the next game more than I am tomorrow’s for a long long time.

May have to rethink my prediction at Pompey, just seen they’re 3-0 up at HT v Sunderland.
