Sony Aluko

I didn’t see or hear any mention of Sony Aluko during yesterday’s celebration, given he’s out of contract at the end of the season has he already left the club ?

He is still at the club and apparently along with Richard Keogh has played a massive part behind the scenes, in fact Aluko was commentating a few weeks back on Ifollow. I do feel he will be departing this Summer though.

Thanks for the info Mike. I’ve a similar feeling about Richard Keogh who appears to have high visibility at the club especially on match days and I’d assumed he’d been working as a defensive coach. Not sure if he’s one of the defensive coaches it the defensive coach as McKenna appears to have assembled quite a large team of specialist coaches around him.

Both Keogh and Aluko can be seen in the thick of the celebrations in the Town in 25 video, clearly popular guys as we expected. Got alot of time for them both, we really missed Aluko during that bad run we had, he has that ability to come on and calm things down and see out a game etc.
