10 years back they won the F.A. Cup, beating (some "big" opposition). It seems bizarre now but it were a victory for the fans. Every so often an upset occurs on the grandest stage and got to admit more power to them. Decade on they've fallen away. It's a shame, it's regrettable, but at the time you kind of get caught up in the emotion. Hiring Martinez that summer was ill-advised but you can't see into the future to know how thing's gonna be.
For those of a certain age WIgan is (or were) Rugby, nothing more. Having a team at soccer level was unheard of, something couldn't quite comprehend. I wish them no ill. Whatever problems they got right now or the time ahead, I hope they can resolve any issues and make it back to previous stature.

Just back in the door from being at a Prog Rock Weekend in …… (drum roll) ——>> Morecambe. Jaysus effin H! Now that place is in the brown stuff. What a shithole.
Any of you guys travel there on your away days?
The air actually smells like sh*t. The seawater is brown ……. I thought that was the Atlantic Ocean?
Great weekend of gigs, but won’t be back in Morecambe anytime soon.
