Remember when Murphy was about the only true forward we possessed. Attacking options were, in so many words, "limited".
Even he were a one-season wonder. We got so many forward options now and scoring alternatives to choose from it makes back then seem something surreal. But yeah they were grim times around here. Evans and his replication of sh*t managerial appointments had the club name in total disarray. Took a long time and hard journey to make it back into the light. Essentially we have a lot of lost time to make up.
