Very sad and I know it's only football, but I imagine if she's going to a game at 81, then Town are at least a notable part of her life and have been for many years. So I'm glad she at least got to see the last 2 years of changes after 20 years of dross, it's been a very exciting and special tenure and we would do well to remember and appreciate that.

Yes it's good to know her last moments/thoughts were of a happy place that she loved to go toRicco wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 1:38 pmVery sad and I know it's only football, but I imagine if she's going to a game at 81, then Town are at least a notable part of her life and have been for many years. What was it a coronary or something. Seems disrespectful to try to glean too much information from it, just imagine whatever the circumstances we'll allow the family the condolences they deserve. It's a real shame, was sorry to learn of this news item.
We don't know how long she was a fan of the team but nice to imagine could well have been witness to the (league) championship win with Ramsey. That alone is an honor or privilege few can claim that follow the team right now. Best to the family in what must be tough times.

Re: R.I.P
Very sad; deepest sympathy to friends and family. Can imagine the immense amount of Town history this wonderful lady must have witnessed down the decades. To leave this world surrounded by family of fellow supporters is probably how she would have chosen to go. Good to see that the Club is supporting Anne’s family, and that the boys will wear black armbands for the S’land match. So good that we have become a caring and compassionate club.
Special mention, too, goes to the medics/stewards who came to Anne’s aid and worked so hard to achieve a more positive outcome. They deserve great credit.

Likewise, a very Happy & Healthy New Year to yourself and family.
Life passing by in 6 monthly instalments for us all in our family with Scott’s scenario. But we keep on ing for positive scan results.

Re: R.I.P
Same here Marko but 3 monthly scans, big difference tho is your Scott’s more like 50 years younger than me and shouldn’t be having to deal with this at his age. Bloody nightmare for him and your family.marko69 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 9:08 pmLikewise, a very Happy & Healthy New Year to yourself and family.
