Hull sack Liam Rosenior.

Hull City have sacked manager Liam Rosenior just days after the season ended in one of the most surprising decisions of the season.

They really must have money to burn given he only signed a new 3 year contract last December and I thought had done a fantastic job.

Interesting...I wonder if Moyes has been made an offer?

Surely they wouldn’t swap Rosenior for Moyes. That would be like swapping McKenna for McCarthy. 🤣🤣🤣

Good point. Rosenior guided Hull to their first top half finish since 2016. He was also nominated for Championship Manager of the Year. Seems like he was building something. Shame he won't be able to finish the job.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous, was building a really good thing there, a good young coach and a cracking person, have they learnt nothing from Birmingham? I hope they crash and burn.

Pathetic, it really is, I hope they go down next year for that. Even if they have something lined up, what does that say to future managers (or any staff/players for that matter) about club loyalty if they'll toss aside one of the best managers in the division like that?

They did spend a lot of cash including loans but the decision to sack a good young manager is stupid, I also hope they crash and burn.

I hope they get relegated next season now. They deserve nothing for that sacking .

Very surprised to read of this this morning, Chansiri-level decision-making.

David Moyes has managed 695 Premiership matches, McKenna 0.
Won't mention McCarthy as it just goes nuts on here :D

Paul Lambert remember him, bounced Norwich out of League One and Championship in 2 seasons.

Vincent Kompany was being mentioned as a potential successor to Pep.

McKenna is doing well but the easy part is done, now for the real test !!

Did alright with appointment of Danny Rohl.
Probably right decision on Darren Moore also when you see how things have played out with him?

Time will tell on Rosenior being sacked. Maybe the gut feel at board level was that he wasn't going to get them where they want but does seem harsh from the outside. Tough gig management these days, do what David Moyes done at West Ham and your considered not good enough !
Still hopefully West Ham drop like a stone and Town can target them next season

Danny Röhl turned out to be a very good appointment, I was thinking more about replacing Moore with Xisco Muñoz.

Surprising in the sense that he really turned them around. Yes on the outside with the talent he had at his disposal they should have made the playoffs, but regardless their play was pleasing on the eye for the neutral and seemed to be on an upward trajectory. I guess the owner expected more, or some other things going on in the background no one knows about.

He won't be out of a job for long though I think.

Yep!

We are so lucky to have owners who just stick to their job and let others do theirs.
