Hernia you reckon? He couldn't have had that before his holiday, or would it have gotten in the way of his partying?!

Edit: I think I thought it said abdomen or something, it says abductor...

Fighting fit for a team in the Championship? Surely there's a good chance he will be loaned out there. I wonder if Baggott's can make the step up to the Championship too after a decent spell at Bristol Rovers?

I don't think Al-Hamadi will be going anywhere to be honest, I think he's raw and stuff to learn but more than capable of stepping up.

Adductor….tbh it part of the “ groin” region. A common problem amongst footballers…. Related to repeated kicking action. I

Painfully aware of those nasties, mine are as tight as guitar strings!!

I'm just curious as to what could require surgery? a small tear that isn't healing fully?? In my mind a tear requires rest and a repture requires surgery to reattach. Maybe a tendinopathy :?

Does that mean it's another Netflix documentary to be made when the playing career finishes?

Just checked the twtd link and article text definitely says ADDuctor…. It’s such a common injury in footballers tbh.

Sometimes you can get an avulsion injury . That’s where the muscle tendon attaches to the bone, becomes detached either fully or partially). That won’t repair on its own.

Not sure they’d do an op on an adductor tendinopathy (again that’s a tendon weakness , and not an inflammatory condition). With a tendinopathy you progressively load it eccentrically (controlling the movement against gravity),

Apparently Harry Clarke has just had an op. I’m assuming on that Achilles tendon problem he’s had for the whole season.
