Fantasy Football (FPL)
Anyone on here into the fantasy football? We had a little league going at work and I’ve enjoyed doing it the last few seasons.
I see some of the player prices have been teased. Davis will be really popular at 4.5m, IMO Hutchinson is a bargain at 5.5m!
Hirst is 5.5, Morsy 5m, Burges 4m, don’t see much value in any of them.
Alot of last years high performers have jumped in price so will be harder this year to have so many good players.
I’ll no doubt end up with three town players in my squad.

Re: Fantasy Football (FPL)
Yes, I joined our work one last year. I chose Newcastle as my premier league team. That will now change to Ipswich this year and already I feel that Davis looks good value for money. I am already thinking along the lines of 2 of the new signings in Greaves & Delap as my 2 other Ipswich players in my squad, though Omari could be one to watch.shabba wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:02 pmAnyone on here into the fantasy football? I set one up a few years ago and I think it’s still active. I’ll take a check. I don’t think you’ll find many on here interested in joining in but maybe with Towns involvement we’ll have a few surprises.

Here is the link;
https://fantasy.premierleague.com/leagu ... oin/9upmvm
Last year there were 8 of us but I don’t recognise many of the names.
We could either run with this or create a new league inviting only current active Tractor Boys & Girls.
Maybe we should wait and see how many would like to play before we decide. If it’s only a handful maybe we stick with the current Tractor Boy League.

Some good scores there! I got 2408 and was about 325k rank last season, so thought I was doing ok!
Lets see nearer the season starts re the league situation, who is interested etc.

Re: Fantasy Football (FPL)
2294 for me, they’re all quite close. Just wish I could dodge all the mistakes like missing early deadlines on a Friday night, or weeks with two rounds, or not changing the captain etc. These errors soon add up.
How many do we think we need to start a new league ?
At the moment we have;
AzzuroMark
ITFC2024
El Bosque Blue
Shabba.
It would be nice to have 8.

I’ve participated for at least 10 years, and the most I’ve won was a fantasy league mouse pad!!
It’s pretty easy to set up. There’s even a head to head leagues where you draft your players. You need 8 players for the head to head.

Is it free, or money involved?

It is free Ohio, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

Have selected my squad for the forthcoming Fantasy Premier League season.
I take part in my workplace competition, but ready to join a tractor boy league too

Harland or not to Harland!
He is so pricey that you can have a much better overall team without him, but then you rely on them delivering over a big haul from a captained Harland

Didn't select Harland last year, nor have I this year. Folly? Quite possibly, but it allows me to spend more on other players.

Ok, I’ve just selected my fantasy team. Do we have a league code yet?

Re: Fantasy Football (FPL)
You already have the code for the original league that’s been running for a while. If we have enough players ideally 8 or more I’ll set up a new league.

I saw a link to the PL page, but you need a passcode to join/form a league.

Not for me sorry, I reckon it's better this season if I just focus on the big prize.

Has anyone picked Ipswich players for their fantasy team? I picked two, can you guess who they are?
