Absolutely 100% ......, it HAD to be filmed a day after the Huddersfield game. Anyone on here in the trades knows for absolute sure that if this was filmed recently ---->> not a snowballs chance in hell that's ready for the 17th. To be honest, the extent of all that, with the pile work etc etc, even being filmed the day after the Huddersfield game is pushing it.

And lets say IT WAS filmed yesterday ---->> they better get their fingers out and be working around the clock.

....., and don't be Ian Rush-ing it for the Liverpool game....., no cutting corners.

Watched the video - it wasn’t made the day after the Huddersfield game - they wouldn’t have done all that ripping out and such in a few hours….

I’d say it was a fairly recent video by the looks of it - agree there is alot to do and it won’t all be ready. However I guesss progress moves fast if you’ve got people at work on it 24/7?

Great insight and it’s changing so much! I’ve seen alot of the inner stadium and it’s very different already.

This just highlights to me how fortunate we are to be in the hands of our current owners and how committed they are to making our football club great again.

As for the Stadium Upgrades,if the project plan is being well managed and the full resources required are being allocated and managed effectively there’s no reason why each sub project shouldn’t be delivered on time and within budget. That’s what professional project managers are paid to do and it doesn’t always go wrong especially with short term contracts that are far easier to estimate accurately.

All right it's not Town related but Manchester United want to bring about a new stadium that will accommodate 100,000 fans, One Hundred Thousand..

They think Old Trafford is no longer viable and wish to relocate to a new arena that will fill the above number stated. Only going to cost around Two Billion pounds in order to make the idea a reality. First instinct - It's something not necessary and imagine that amount of money the good it could do for something else much more worthwhile, Humanitarian Aid being one prime example.

But no they believe it's better spent on acquiring another stadium with more people in it than they simply need or require. How many instances would they even get 100,000 fans in it. Believe in a sense they've fallen so far behind in the 10 years since Alex Ferguson vacated and just haven't challenged enough for top honors they're trying to find a solution or putting forward an idea that won't necessarily assist them much if it ever came to plan.

It's all about making money. Bigger capacity means bigger income.... no idea what a ST costs at mzn utd but if they're thinking of adding 25k seats , I'd think that's a hrlluva log of fish into the offers, znd that just ftom the ST price...add to test match day add ons from a pie, pint and a programme .... that's a LOT of money.

Funny enough I was talking earlier about Towns plans for increasing capacity. I postulated that if the club were looking to increase the Cobbold stand capacity by say, 5k seats, that they may as well increase by 10k because the cost of stand redevelopment ( the grojnd eofk invokved) would probably be the same for 5k as opposed to 10k extra seats. But the income would be higher for the Club from 10k seats compared to 5k. I'm sure someone will have done the calculations of diminishing returns.....

I do wonder if the Club will be paying close attention to the numbers of fans involved in the ballot for home games. This would be an indication of interest in attending Town games in the PL ....

Without going off topic - 2bn on aid would be great but the root issue needs fixing otherwise it’s never ending.

Re UTD stadium, they would fill it - huge fan base. The numbers would be hard to add up as 2BN sounds very high. Would need to be a multipurpose venue with constant revenue stream.
I’ve heard the current stadium has been neglected and is frankly a dump. Suprised they can’t revamp it though. Even if that cost 800m it would surely be better if you can up the capacity, more hospitality etc.

There is a lot to sort on the pitch there too !
