The problem is we've heard that so many times recently without any foundation. I hope it's true with Hamar, not so keen on the other guy, bit of a donkey as I recall.

Great to see new investment from successful and competent sports professionals. I’m really impressed with how the club’s financial infrastructure is becoming more diverse. I believe it makes us more sustainable in light of huge debt the Premier League incurs on smaller clubs like us.

For me the highlight is seeing Matt Holland appointed to the Board of Directors of both Gamechanger and Ipswich Town FC. There will be times when his closeness to the game and to the club will be a huge asset to the more remote financial backers and decision makers. Such an astute move I suspect driven by Chairman Mark Ashton.

Yes Andy, brilliant move, it's almost like having one of our own on the board and in the know, well happy with this.

Congratulations to him, very exciting and interesting. Decisions like this just feel 'right' don't you think, which I can't get my head around, it seems too good to be true! Probably because my experience with management and boards, is that a great deal of them are hugely inept and antiquated, the way the club was run under Evans being a fine example of this!

Yes it does "feel right" because Matt Holland would not be involved in anything less so it augers well for what's going on.

I have heard that if you rub two siblings together in a vigorous manner you can create a primitive form of dial-up

That normal creates another one of their kind unfortunately, it happens a lot up there, especially in those long dark winter nights!
