Possible Setback for Kieran McKenna & ITFC ?

Has anyone else read that Kieran’s No 2 Martin Pert who came with him from Manchester United has resigned to become Head Coach at Wrexham. This must have come as a surprise as he signed a new long term contract with us less than a year ago when we were promoted to the Championship.

If true this could be blow given his huge reputation in his own right and if not a major issue it will certainly be unsettling for Kieran. However it may be a load of tosh as I’ve not seen anything official published anywhere.

If it is correct I’m not sure if he will be replaced internally or externally, if the latter I can imagine there would be a huge no of interested parties.

I can’t find anything official on this. I’d be surprised if he leaves.

I believe it's a made up story by some random site.

This has to be fake news. I’ve searched everywhere and apart from two Ipswich Town fans sites on Social Media I can find no foundation to this story. I’ve searched on Wrexham sites too and they are flying under Phil Parkinson who’s job must be the next most secure in English football after Kieran McKenna.

Definitely another example of the growing trend of FAKE NEWS. OMG there are some dumb fuckers about.

This was the article posted on an Ipswich Fans Facebook page which is clearly a fake site probably set up by scummers using a hacked account.

I’ll close this thread and report the site and try to get it closed down.
