Very good news, although for 18 Months only ST holders will be getting into games.

So, would this mean Town are developing it independently of IBC? The original idea ( I thought), was a joint venture to build a sports complex on the car park, nerging into a new Cobbold Stand?

At first glance thought we were looking to relocate from Portman Road but it's been discussed at certain length before it's highly unlikely or won't happen, at least in our lifetimes.

So Four Thousand fans will miss out when or if development takes place. The timing of this seems questionable. Particularly we're finally a Premier League club name once more and the demand for tickets and live action would be more than ever. Kind of wonder couldn't they have implemented this idea or action a year or two ago when we were making progress in lower league and cut any waiting time to half or something. It's no disaster and the eventual action can only be for the best but maybe the timing seems in question. Maybe I got the wrong idea or reading out of context but we'll let it rest.

I would love to see this happen but it will surely only happen if we are an established premier league side.

I hope this is not dependant on if we stay up although I fear it probably is on the proviso we are a Premier League club.

Having seen what happened to our football club when we built the Pioneer Stand all those years ago I’d rather this be put on the back burner until we know our team is good enough to survive in the premier league. We certainly don’t need a bigger stadium in the Championship especially if it means limited funds available to strengthen the team or even worse players having to be sold to balance the books.

Agreed. Would hate to see history repeating itself.
