Szmodics
Out for a few weeks with an ankle injury. These injuries seem to be happening on a regular basis now and certainly aren’t going to help us in our fight for survival. Apparently Hirst will be back on Sunday so wonder if that will put a hold on our search for another striker? Think we should still be looking to get one in.

Re: Szmodics
Szmodics doesn't even start every game when ideally he should. Went to all that trouble to acquire the player, take another club name(s) most valuable asset et cetera yet for certain periods doesn't get to feature when we take to the field. Hirst coming back if indeed true will provide extra strength or belief in going forward / scoring goals and while we have seem plenty of option in selecting names in directly forward position the manager sees only fit to deploy one each or near every other game.
Saw a mention we played three in attack last game or the one before it but that must have passed under radar real quiet. Reports said it were the same system used time and before (that) we've always implemented, or at least what McKenna himself puts out.
Believe though a new striker seems imperative for the remainder of season. Whatever we got either seems injured, on suspension, or simply not working to their true potential. It's always the same though, what works at another club set-up has no guarantee of being successful or productive at another.
