Inter Milán v Barcelona Champions League Semi-Final

Well if there’s ever been a more entertaining and more exciting game of football than this I’d love to watch it.
I thought the first leg was entertaining but the secongf leg last night took football entertainment to a new level.
For the second time in a week both teams served up a classic with Ineter winning 4-3 on the night 7-6 on aggregate to reach the Champions League final where they will play either Arsenal or PSG, most likely the latter.
In a thriller that will be remembered for years Barcelona trailed 2-0 at half time before scoring 3 without reply with Raphina scoring what looked to be a match winner in the 87 minute, only for Inter to produce a dramatic late equaliser with just 2 mins of added time left when their 37yr centre back Acerbi smashed the ball into the roof of the net to take the tie into extra time. I think this was his first goal for more than 2 years.
There were even more ecstatic scenes to follow when substitute Davide Frattesi won it for Inter in the first half of extra time when he curled a fabulous left footed shot into the bottom corner of the net before climbing a security fence to celebrate in front of Inter’s fans.
Barca’s young star Lamine Yamal almost twice took the tie to penalties but was denied by brilliant saves by Yann Sommer as Inter held on to reach their second Champions League Final in three seasons and what a way to do it after two kegs of incredible drama which saw 13 goals in a tie turned on its head several times.
If you didn’t see it and have time, find it and watch it. This was football at its very best.
