Tottenham have sacked Postecoglou .
Let’s see where the manager merry go round will end up .?
Will McKenna still be at PR at the start of the season .

I can't see Tottenham taking a big risk with an unproven manager at PL level - i can see them going after Thomas Frank, problem is Brentford might then go after KM!

That is the worry, KM to Brentford.

Unproven at PL level? Really?
He's had a whole season managing a PL club. He's proven all right - to be not up to the task.

I called this months ago and was pilloried for it but lets see how it pans out. For me, if he gets an offer at Spurs or any other Prem team, he is gone cos I don't think he has shown undeniable commitment since the Chelsea/Man U/Palace link last year...

After thinking about this, I’m not convinced any PL club would want KM at the moment. It would be a huge risk. I just don’t see it happening yet.

Having qualified for Champions League football next season I don’t see Spurs taking any chances which woukd rule out McKenna filling this vacancy. This said with a squad of established Premier League players McKenna’s style of play and management could be awesome. Without doubt some EPL owners will already have recognised this which is why our owners pay him as much as they do to deter approaches.
I honestly think he’s still highly rated and will continue to be unless he under delivers again next season

I'm past caring. If he hies, he goes, There's aspects to his ta tactics that I feel could be better, and I lived in hope he adapted in certain circumstances. But having gone through the season we just have, when he's had the opportunity but not taken them, I seriously doubt he can adapt / change. Will sny established PL club risk him as their manager?

He’s tested at Championship though, Hallam so get yourself “present caring” instead of “past caring”!
Walk the Championship then be stronger in the EPL with a new manager…… that'll be Gamechangers “on the quiet” plan.

Not sure if you’re joking, but I have a lot of respect for German coaches/managers. I also think German players, especially defenders are underrated and rarely recruited in the PL nowadays. The German player market is something our scouts should be monitoring. There’s a plethora of skillful, physical players who are being overlooked due to the Bundesliga’s demise. Many of them can be acquired for reasonable transfer fees.

We aren’t saying KM will go to spurs, it’s more that Thomas Frank goes to spurs (odds on fav) and then Brentford are keen to move for McKenna.

Why on earth would the Brentford ownership want a manager who has the infamous record of the most HOME defeats for ITFC? Sorry, KM is not going anywhere! He’s here at least for next season. I’ll be shocked if any PL team goes after KM right now. With that said, I hope KM redeems himself and we dominate the Championship. Do I think that will happen?…well no I honestly don’t think we’ll achieve automatic promotion. I’m hoping we’ll be play off contenders at the least, but if anyone thinks we’ll walk the Championship and bounce right back, you’re delusional.

If you’re familiar with that Brian Eno composition, you’ll know life is more about growth and surviving, rather than being funny or serious. Eno was raised in Woodbridge, England just like myself. It’s a small tourist town in Suffolk on the banks of the River Deben. I won’t espouse the history of the area, but the remnants of Sutton Hoo and the Tidemill alone exude significance. Still remember in my adolescence trudging through mud when the tide was out to find bait in the form of worms. Ok, I’m bellowing too much about my past and my British roots as it were…but the anthem of Eno’s ascent will always be held dearly in my heart. It will give me hope when the odds are against me. It will present proof of my identity. Sometimes music is the vessel we need to realize where we come from.

Sorry I was consumed with nostalgia. You’re right, this is a thread about Postagululboodoorudorickie (sp).
His name is so hard to pronounce and spell, so I thought I’d present an easy to remember moniker.
I once dated a girl named Monica, and her moniker begins with a C.
If KM was black, his name would probably be Kayron from the southside?

Oh, you’d love the Deben estuary marko…. Both the Deben and the Orwell estuaries are a beautiful part of our world down here…..
Ever heard of Sutton Hoo, and the burial ship? Well that sailed right up the Deben , and was dragged up the hill and buried with the king in it as was tradition in those far off days….. watch The Dig, with Ralph Fiennes ( spl), he does a brilliant job of actually getting the Suffolk accent correct,
( non of this pseudo, West County yokel sh*t people usually come out with…..)

I’m not talking about McKenna only going to Spurs either. Unlike some on here who think McKenna isn’t good enough for the Premier League because of our results last season. I’m simply saying I don’t think this to be the case and there will be EPL clubs that will include him in their shirt lists including Brentford.

I reckon you're right. Think about if you or I were in KMc's circumstances you just have to do what you think is the best for you and your family.
That may well be staying in Suffolk, I hope it is but it's his decision. For sure he'll not be short of offers.

There's a hell of a lot of difference between being a candidate and being made an offer.
To my knowledge, last year he was cited as being a candidate for certain positions but no offer materialised from anywhere.
There's a lot waiting on the current round of speculation - Frank has to be offered (and to accept) the Spurs job, and then Brentford have to at least ask for permission to speak to KM. Nothing, as far as we aware, has happened yet, and any such talk is pure unfounded speculation.

Cheers Hallam. All very interesting..., especially that link highlighted. How the hell have I never heard of Sutton Hoo. Incredible story.
When I think back to some of the stuff we learned in history, no idea how this didn't make it into the British History parts.
I think we should write a poem about the Sutton Hoo......, and the Postegoglu!
Ah well, ^^^^ short poem....., but it works!

Here is a poem written by Andrei Imalwaysrightalot --->> or "AI" for short....
Ange Postecoglou and the Ghost of Sutton Hoo
In Suffolk's soil, where the River Deben winds,
A ship was hauled from ancient times.
Through mists of centuries, its timber creaked,
A king's last journey, in silence, sleek.
The treasures buried, gold and garnet gleamed,
A warrior's rest, where history dreamed.
Yet in the present, on Tottenham's ground,
A leader's vision, where passion's found.
Ange Postecoglou, with tactics keen,
Guides Spurs with purpose, a steady beam.
From ancient rites to modern play,
The spirit of Sutton Hoo leads the way.
As ships were drawn from river's embrace,
So Spurs advance with determined pace.
In every pass and goal they score,
Echoes of history, forevermore.
