So, who are your tipping to win the tournament?
I know you will fancy England, as I fancy Sweden, but what is your realistic choice?
I go for France which I suppose is the easy option but I think they have the best chance all the same.

I reckon they could win ,just a sneaky feeling i have with them as Home nation
But i reckon ENGLAND could have a chance if Gerard , lampard , Terry etc perform well

I don't know what it is but there is something inside that is telling me that Holland have a good chance of winning Euro 2004 but Essexgirl thinks it is more likely to be France that win it and I agree with her aswell, so I have decided on two teams that I think might win Euro 2004.........................
Holland and France but I reckon out of these two France are the favourites.
But we know who we really want to win don't we boys and gals...............

sorry everyone... but it's gonna be Germany!!
Remember what happened the last time they were thrashed 5-1 in the run up to a major tournament?? (Romania beat them a month or so back).

Sorry, but don't think England will get it, we have picked four strikers, only one of which is a regular goalscorer, if Owen gets injured we have no chance.
Should have took Defoe.

Defoe might well end up going as Vassell has yet to prove his fitness.
I think we'll do okay and have a chance to win it as we'll be very hard to beat, we've not lost a single competitive match to European oppostion under Sven!
I hope we practise our penalties though as I can see our knockout games going the full distance.

England to go in the group stages behind France and Croatia. We might just nick a point off the Swiss though.

Although my heart wants England to win I think that we are not good enough at every area of the pitch. Goalkeeper in Calamity James, Defence, well Terry is class but along side Sol I'm not so sure, Bridge and Cole are too attacking most of the time and the pensioner Neville.
Midfield we have some class players but they all want too prove something for themselves so whether they work well toghether remains to be seen.
THen the Attacking force, the jolly green giant Heskey, Owen who is good most of the time, vassell supersub and Rooney who has the potential but will he use it.
The you look at the other teams and nough said.
SO in closing France will win after beating Portugal in the final.
We will make the Quarters but go out after being thrashed.
