Week 42 - The Final Week Results & Tables.

Every week there will be a series of fixtures (or questions) for you to predict the results of. This will be a perfect chance for you to show how much you know about football (or how little) and prove that you are the smartest Ipswich fan. The 2024/25 season will feature the Main Competition including a repeat of last years Promotion/Relegation format and the popular addition of the 'Head to Head' Competition. We will also play for the coveted TB Cup which will commence in January 2025, which is based around the real FA Cup fixture dates!

Congratulations Wilf thoroughly deserved after your consistent performances during the season. Think my lot must have gone on the p*** after their Cup win last week! Also, well done to Cabanas Blue on winning the Premier League Trophy.
Would also like to thank Charnwood and Blue Mike for the effort they put in so that we can have a bit of fun during the season. Certainly we have all needed it during our short stay in the Premiership.

Yes many congratulations to Blue Wilf and Cabanas Blue on your wins, both deserved but Shed that is so so unlucky to miss out on the big one by a mere Two points, it doesn't get much closer than that.

Thanks Shed and all. I was amazed at how similar our predictions this week were, given that neither of us had seen the others before submitting them! Only a goal at Wolves separated us over the course of a season! Well done to you for your cup win and to Cabanas for the league and Charnwood for the H2H. I can now relax for the summer! 😂😂 thanks again to Mike, Charnwood, Frosty and Marko too for all of the hard work to keep this all going - it has been fun even if our season has not! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Very well done to all the winners of the 4 trophies , especially that Individual chase….. That was an exciting finish to watch.

And thanks for the thanks to me……. But i do absolutely eff all with the Prediction League…… (and i do eff all IN IT either) …..

……, but i will join in on the thanks to the guys who do compile it and then check it. Hours of time over the course of a season. Much appreciated. 👍👍👌👌

No Marko but you help to stir the pot of discussion (as we all do) either positively or negatively - it all adds to the forum!

Well done Wilf, it's not easy to win the individual comp, and 800+ points is very impressive. :D

Also, well done Shed, what a great year, I think that score would have been easily good enough to take the comp in previous seasons.

I know 'runner up' is a bit of a let down, I should know as I am the runner up to the runner up

Well done Wilf on your PL Championship win, this is definitely the “Big One” and what a competition it’s been this season. Thanks also to Shed and Frosty for making it the tight competition it’s been, without you this season woukd have have been a Blue Wilf walkover.
Well done to the winners of our other competitions run throughout the season. and if anyone has any suggestions on how you think our Prediction League could improve next season, please let us know.

One suggestion from me would be to award 10 points to anyone who predicts the exact “Golden Goal” time, with 5 points to those +/- 2 mins.

Enjoy the summer everyone, hopefully we’ll see you all predicting again next season.
