whos getting up at 2am to watch the GP then?

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

lol, riv i know you love cricket, but its so tedious, nothing much seems to happen :? you'll have to explain it to me oneday! most sports have times when they are dominated by one or two teams, same as footie, always has been..thats the great thing about F1, trying to be better than ferrari, and just enjoying each race as it stands on its own......how can you say its boring??? its so action packed! and not fogetting all the glamour, gossip and bitching attched to it, i love it

ok this is how i see F1, and i think most people in general do as well

most exciting bits are the pit stops and the crashes, thats it, nothing more

is she gunna bite? or has she already taken the bait? wait a minute i can feel summut tugging on my line (shouldnt of phrased that quite like that but hey...........)

F1 is a lot better now than over the last few years and the chasing bunch are a lot closer together which is where the real race is.

Mind you I prefer motorcycle racing for action but F1 has a technology edge that is very interesting.

And as for Cricket well that reminds me of paint drying.

cricket is much better than F1, test match cricket can be a bit boring but 1 day cricket is excellent

F1 is all about money, bit like football really, the top few teams all do great but if u aint got the money ur crap and havent got a chance of catching the big guns, unless they crash or have technical problems

thats another thing, with all the money in F1 u would of thought they'd be able to make a car that dont keep breaking down

They do thats why for this season the teams only get 1 engine for the whole weekend.
As for the teams at the back end of the grid, they have as much to prove by doing well on a small budget compared to the big teams.

Its all about rooting for the underdog which is something we will be doing tommorrow.
