Tales of the Unexpected PART ONE
It was the night before...................
And all through the night, not a creature did stir............
But a sound I could hear whilst I was sitting at the computer at 1am from behind the cupboard, 2 thuds, "What could it be"?
Went to sleep that night next day morning a mate was over and I went to fetch the chair for him to sit on that was by the computer and I looked down and there was a huge blackey browney snake curled up on the floor at the foot of the chair about 6 feet long.
I screamed heart racing I don't remember how I got to the door to outside and just remember shutting the door and screaming "There is a snake", hubby went inside to have a look and yelled "my god its huge', I need a spade or something. He looked for the keys but they wern't on the hook. Mate spots keys on table but that means one of us has to go right past the snake??
Part Two to follow soon......................

I got bitten on the foot by the Australian Common Brown snake (2nd deadliest snake in the world) except it didn't manage to get through my boots... i was only about 9 at the time so i freaked out!! not as much as my dog did though hehe...
did you know that Australia doesn't have the deadliest snake in the world.. that's the cobra which resides in Africa... except we have 9 out of the top 10 deadliest snakes.. i.e 2-10 hehe
