Re: Worst Away Ground?
Luton - One of the worst grounds and the most retarded fans that you could ever wish for. Back in the early 80s saw us there and nearly shat myself with the bovver we received going back to the coaches. Terry Butcher splattered his nose all over the pitch as far as i remember. Quite serious i think. Lost tonnes of blood.

Re: Worst Away Ground?
That was in Butchers contract though......, section 8, paragraph 2, sentence 1: must have bloody bandages around head in at least ten fixtures per season.

Great atmosphere though, even if the natives are less than friendly when the opposition score in the last minute, horrible walking out of the old away into a narrow lane lined with angry home fans

Could not agree more with you!
What a dump and what an awful intimidating atmosphere on the day - I doubted we'd get out of the place alive but we did and oh did we celebrate!
Memories eh!!

Re: Worst Away Ground?
what about watford -when i went there a few seasons back, it took an absolute age to walk around the allotments before we could get into the ground, then we lost, and then we had to walk all the way back round the allotments in the rain!
