Where is that venue

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

Crewe's main rivals are fellow English Football League team Port Vale. The clubs have been involved in 73 games since 1892 (8 games against Burslem Port Vale); overall, Crewe have won 19 games, Port Vale have won 33, with the teams drawing 21 games.[27][28] The rivalry (known by some as the A500 Derby) intensified after the millennium, when both clubs were in League One and Two. Close encounters between the two clubs since 2010 have resulted in violence and arrests.[29][30][31][32] On 22 February 2014, Crewe beat Vale 3–1, at Vale Park and there was trouble before, during and after the game, with several arrests made, flares thrown on the pitch,[33] and a scuffle between rival supporters in the executive boxes.[34] The first meeting of the 2014/15 season saw Crewe beat Port Vale 2–1; again trouble flared with Cheshire Police confirming five arrests were made.[35] The sides met again in January 2015, at Vale Park. Crewe won the game 1-0 to seal their first league double over Port Vale. Two arrests were made at the game, with minor disturbances between rival fans after the match.[36]

Wiki is a brilliant source of information, (but not always gospel) was reading up on Stoke City back in the day, this bit wouldn't
happen today. " In the summer of 1963 concrete was laid on the paddock terracing and it was the Stoke players who helped lay it as part of a team bonding scheme....those were the days, I can still remember walking to the Mol in the 50s/60s and international footballers would be walking beside us.

Some.. need to make a distinction between looking up stats for some obscure kid we have signed (and not finding them) and using the same source of information to cheat at question rounds. If you're unable, then don't bother responding.

As a former employee of the company in question Yes they have a vast array of valuable information at our disposal, but wouldn't wish to use what is presented to aid a quiz round to benefit those without required knowledge. Guess trying to find some information about some kid I did not recognize from the best information source on the Internet was the wrong thing to do this time, so take this opportunity to apologize unreservedly.

There will be no further mention of this so all that's left to do is provide a confirmation on the latest attempt.

Has a tendency to disappear at pivotal moments

Realize not everyone can afford to spend six to eight hours a day on these pages, but think maybe a time limit or such should be imposed for those in charge of rounds underway. It's unfair on other participants who are awaiting a response. No real harsh words Gold and Black, you may be unwell or unable to participate, but for arguments sake it has to be brought to the fore.

This will not be put into practice as of now, merely highlighting the possibility of action ahead

Guess I got myself a round amid the confusion

This needs to go

Unfair on other participants who want a turn and while won't offer any more clues than already presented, it only takes a second to try an attempt

Edit, one last pointer and nothing more : This stadia is not in Europe

Never heard of this stadium so would not have got it from my OWN knowledge.
It got toooo serious for me , a comp is supposed to be fun.
I would have got it from other sources but that was not allowed.
Consider this game dead and buried under current rules for me.

Whew, didnt want to break a rule.

Not very good at this, the only ones I know are older baseball stadiums here in the states which doesnt seem to be quite the tenor of it.
