Sorry but some folk have no sense.
The first wave of guys are leaving the pitch and we then have to have a second wave throwing themselves at the gates!
Let everyone celebrate

Fantastic stuff by KMcK and his players. The achievement since that night @ Bristol Rovers has been quite unbelievable. Very well done to all. Enjoy the celebrations.

What a team! What a result! What a season! May not be crowned champions next Saturday but who can argue with 99 goals they don't deserve it?
Either way: goodbye Accrington, Cambridge, Exeter; hello Southampton, Forest, West Brom and er...Norwich

Mark Ashton, What a guy. To think back, wasn't there concerns after hearing some Bristol supporters thought?
Few on here also mentioned concerns but yes we have great owners, fantastic Chairman. Top class manager and players. Not sure though if be where we are without Mark
thank you Mark for everything

Hi, Lucy, that's my old stomping ground during the 2nd World War, I lived in Russell Road right on the seafront opposite the Yaught Pond and spent some excellent times there as a lad with my chums, lovely pebble beach was all barbed-wired up, and the old wooden pier before it was all rebuilt with steel and concrete and the joy of having the odd mine swept up on the beach

Re: League 1 - Ipswich Town vs Exeter Preview & Matchday THread
Honest view from a fan for 50 years here so bear with me.... Great day and great result. Never in doubt after the first 15 mins. If anything, I felt a little deflated as we had to wait an hour and a half to celebrate and then the arseholes decided to invade the pitch which spoilt the spontaneity of the moment for me. By the time the team came out for the celebrations, it was all a bit 'after the lord mayors parade' for me. A few moments were great but as so many things these days, I found there were many people who I had never seen at games for years suddenly appearing as though their blood ran blue but in reality they just wanted a facebook post. Also, just after half time when game was about to start, I went for a quick bio break and the concourse was full of pissed up idiots with no interest in the football. One other thing - I thought the so called celebrations were a shambles... it was chaotic and whoever decided to try and interview players whilst the music blared away - why deafen us with music when we just wanted to hear the fans sing? - was an idiot!
I love this team and what they have achieved but I am afraid that I dislike society these days. Sorry to say it how it feels but I can't pretend that it was the amazing day I hoped for.
Anyway - onwards and upwards!

What a day, amazing game - we just blew them away - huge credit to the players for getting the job done in such style, to see them hounding Exter and chasing them down at 6-0 up just said everything about the mentality.
Watched the game at my dads and he cracked open the champange on the final whistle, was great to watch the post machine scenes and seeing the twitter clips had been great tonight.
Feeling a little unwell so didn't travel to the town today, shame as I indeed bet that it's truely rocking.
