We are certainly the better side and Delap should have scored, let's hope we play as well in the second half.

Sounds like Ipswich are going toe to toe with the mighty Manure and maybe should be ahead.
MASSIVE 2nd half coming up.

Listening to game commentary, it sounds like some atmosphere there. They're now at interval stage and that hutchinson goal should provide some proper morale going in to the next 45. Say again today presents a very good opportunity to win once more. Think we've actually had the better of it thus far and deserve to be equal. Their goalkeeper made a great save that haven't seen, i don't know just how good it were until able to view.
mIght be an idea to introduce some names from the bench for the second half to improve our chances of winning. There's some talent we got available that can come on and cause them further problems but McKenna should know what's required. Promising first period for us and the opportunity is there to go on and claim victory.

I think Onana is beginning to annoy Delap!
Third time lucky perhaps.

Not sure if it’s just the TV coverage here in the States, but our fans don’t sound anywhere near as vocal today as they did at Tottenham in the last game.

Let’s hope Jack Clarke makes more impact than he has so far in his Town career.

a free kick is in progress to the opposition, let's hope this comes to nothing. Missed it, we got away with something there. Muric may not have got to it but it's wide and out.
Take a moment to savour we're playing the biggest name in British soccer and holding our own with both teams looking to win it whereas two ,three years back opposition would be something like Cambridge and Bristol Rovers. Some may not have enjoyed our start to the season back once more at the highest level but right now at least we're providing a very good advert for the EPL along with ourselves. We can win this.

Don't look out of place.
Just need to learn how to turn some of the draws into wins.

getting nervous now, think would take the draw. It would represent a fair result from what you can ascertain although commentary would suggest we could or should have won it. Game's finished on 90 minutes of all things, they usually add 10 minutes overtime to it. Where's the additional time.
Full time and it's 1 - 1 . Right off the bat it's a commendable score for us. The opposition are a poor imitation of seasons past and we could have won it but all told it's something you can take a certain pride from. Two very promising results or performances from last two games, we're finding our way at last.

We've drawn more than any team in the division, oh to have only turned a couple of those in to wins. Better than nowt, but McKenna won't like that fact, giving he likes to gamble for wins.

Four points from Tottenham away and Utd at home. We would have been very sceptical if anyone had said that three weeks ago.
We are now getting more and more assured in this league. There is no reason we can't finish, comfortably, in mid table and go from strength to strength next year.

6 draws and 3 should have been wins that 6 points would have made such a difference but we are improving each game. COYB.

Solid point and unlucky not to win. Improving all the time. For me next 5 games are all winnable.

Well Utd's new 'special one' will have his work cut out improving that shower - they were useless! Town on the other hand were exceptional to a man. I thought we bossed the first half and tired in the second but deserved to win. Morsy is so assured against any opposition, Delap was his usual hard to play against self, Cajuste class, defenders so determined and Omari really turned on the class! Talking of class, Rashford showed his usual lack of it with his goal celebration in my opinion...
A fab point and am disappointed not to have won but boy we play out hearts out. Onto Forest! COYB's!!

Re: Premier League - Ipswich Town vs Manchester United Preview & Matchday Thread
I felt a bit disappointed at the final whistle. Town were clearly the better side and came very close to taking 3 points.
But on reflection, there's much to be satisfied with. Delap and Hutchinson had star performances. The team looked thoroughly organised and ran themselves into the ground for the cause. A special mention for me goes to Cameron Burgess: having played in Melborne and Bahrain in the break, he comes back in and more than holds his own. A few years ago was lining up for Accrington Stanley; now he's up against Bruno Fernandes and Manchester Utd. A real hero.
We should fear no one in this league and as valley said are definitely capable of getting something from the each of the next five

We should have won that. Very fine margins and lack.of experience in our subs in 2nd half, meant we didn't take our gilt edged chances at that point.
Once again though we "gift" opponents a very soft goal. For me, it was Murics' ball all day long and just stood there like a bloody plumb.
My MOTM was Omari , what a little firecracker he is. Never stops running, and so strong when not in possession.
Get in our Jan reinforcements and ship out those not up to this level, and I think we'll have enough about us to stay up. For me we are improving work on week.
Final oddity today. Not a single player booked!
