At least Billy Sharp is not BS. Reckon he could bang in a few goals for the Town, unlike other BS signings/loanees.

In his post-match interview, when asked, MM stated quite clearly that he thought DMcG would be fit for for Brighton on Wednedsay. But then he also denied any lknowledge of a Billy Sharp bid - could be other stuff going on? Intriguing times!

Does anybody know for def in McG is injured? Not having a break as possible transfer issue and do not want to risk him?

Therefore another striker incoming maybe, guess we will know in next 10 days or so.

To be fair, Mick doesn't give anything away regarding future signings whether there's truth in them or not, so we won't really know until it actually happens.

Believe his knee injury is genuine; took a hit during the S'otton match, and was spotted in a knee brace at the training ground. However, that doesn't rule out some below the radar transfer activity involving him.

See Chris Wood of Leicester is being mentioned in despatches again on TWTD. Leicester apparently open to a loan move - Fulham also allegedly interested. Sharp or Wood?

Wood over Sharp for me given the players we have already , i would then drop Didz just of the front two and use his undoubted skill to supply the forward / forwards and he is still in a position to chip in with a few should the opportunity present and could also do away with the need for a AMF player and provide that link between MF and forwards that we do on occasion lack , that leaves Murph isolated and frustrated. It may also get rid of our long ball tendency which we do also on occasion have a bit to much maybe.

If it is one or the other then it has to be Sharp as Wood is far to similar to Murphy and I dont think it would work. If it was just a simple choice then yes Wood but in our situation it is Sharp for me.
