1..I was born in Edingburgh.
2..I played for Chelsea for 3 years until the new manager sold him to Brighton.
3.. At his next club he won promotion twice,and the Division One Championship.
4. the next and last club he played and managed until his retirement.
5. Sadly he is no longer with us.
6. his last football league manager was Jackie Milburn.
7. his nickname was Sticks.

It was Chris cattlin that gave it away I looked him up saw mick channon,s name and thought horse trainer and fergie.

Clue 3 I started my career at Blyth Spartans then to Celtic but could not get into the 1st team then Brentford
Clue 4 I played in Centre Half / Midfielder / Forward
Clue 5 I have managed 3 clubs
Clue 6 I made 370 appearances, scoring 19 Goals
