As for the final result, I wouldn't like to say

Haha, very good. Like it.
I've changed my mind on the result. 8-1 ITFC.
Anyone want a tangtastic haribo?

Way to go Berra, you're supposed to put the ball in the opposition goal..
Better rectify this quick, don't want an early elimination

For sure there'll be a handful here who are present, but the way it's going they'll be maybe thinking why did they bother.
And Yes Stevenage are ahead in possession and have created more chances. Half-time is now upon us.
Not another early embarrassment in this damn competition, this has to be avoided. McCarthy and players -
sort it out
Sears and Murphy available on subs bench, if I had my way I'd deploy them as soon as possible second half.

I was hoping tonight would see the end of our unenviable run of having lost our last three League Cup matches, all against lowly opposition, however at the moment things aren't looking too good....
I blame Rossi for predicting a three goal lead.
However we still have 45mins to turn things round.

Have we got another good young left back? It sounds like he's having a good game

From the BBC:
A brilliant run from debutant left-back Myles Kenlock but his cross flashes untouched across the face of goal.
Since the equaliser it's been all Ipswich.League Two Stevenage are hanging on after taking the lead against their Championship opponents - now David McGoldrick's header is saved

Very nearly advantage Ipswich as Ryan Fraser's shot blazes into the side netting. They're coming on strong after leveling the game.

James you always act shocked....
We are playing well. My friend at the game is keeping me updated. 2nd half we have been the better team.

Whatever McCarthy said at the break appears to be having the desired effect. That new kid with a goal and we appear to be favorites for a second as the game progresses. Want this finalized in 90 minutes if possible.
Edit, Tabb has given us a lead. Showing tremendous character after falling behind. Do not sit back now and go for more goals, want no repeat of the weekend

Incredible scenes at Ipswich! Stevenage fans must have thought there was there extra time on the way!
The referee blew up for a penalty for a foul on Dean Parrett but then changed his mind!
The Championship side still lead. Five to go.

We have another preview to do!
It sounds like Josh Yorweth and Myles Kenlock in particular had a good game tonight - more promise for the future, and signs that we have strength in depth for the season ahead!

Not so shocked now then. Town performed well tonight let's keep that up for Saturday. 3 points will be a nice birthday present for me.

That's good enough for me.
Well done Town, always good to come back from being behind.
A good crowd too, almost twice as many as most of the Championship teams playing tonight, only Sheffield Wednesday had more against a side with a short journey for the away fans.

thank f*ck it's over, although the away support doubtless has a night to remember in spite of the eventual result. Into the second round and another potential embarrassment has been averted.
Saturdays opposition Brentford had themselves a heavy home loss to the 1986 winners Oxford United also so makes the past weekend a little easier. Can we win this damn competition ? Yes we can, but is going to occur ? We're still involved after today and that's the most important factor

Hopefully Bluemike will be one of the 10449 attendance and will be able to give us a first hand account of how well we played.
