A bit pricey for a League Cup game.

£45......"welcome" to PL clubs and their vastly overpriced football!

AND you'll be watching the reserves. Not for me even I could have gone.

You get £5 off for being a season ticket holder/member.

For a League Cup game though I was expecting £20/£25...

We have to get used to these Prices if we want to progress to Premier League.

If he's going, could you ask him to get me a retrograde step, please. And a Sir Alf Ramsay ladder. Cheers.

But... Old Trafford! Then again, I've never been before so it appeals a lot to me.

Extortion is some peoples business

I don't have much time for them but remember West Ham a year or two ago only had an entrance fee of around five pounds on the night for League Cup games. (Kids may have been one pound only also). Yes they lost a significant amount on gate revenue because of it but showed the way ahead for a number of other teams by putting supporters first and not putting price over enjoyment.

The fact I have never been to Old Trafford before is also the appeal to me but what with the travel cost on top etc you can kiss goodbye to a £100 quid by the time the day is done and for what ? Reserve team football !! I dunno, I expect I may still go.

If you do decide to go and take the car just to let you know Old Trafford is a b****** to get away from and it can take you ages to get back to the motorway.

Been there several times with Town and went to all the England games there whilst the new Wembley was being built and every time I ended up swearing about the traffic after the game.

Whenever I have been I park at the Lowry Centre and walk to OT - about 10-15 minutes (You can see one from the other)

Just worth checking closing times for the car park, but tends to be fairly late as those pesky theatre goers also tend to be out late at night.

If it had of been a weekend I would of been there but because its midweek it makes it difficult to get time off work and I think that will be a lot of peoples problem. I will still miss not going but have resigned myself to seeing Ipswich play there next season in the league
