You can add Douglas to that list as well.

Hope I'm wrong but I have a bad feeling about today.

What is this ? Spent a moment in the off topic section and they've scored two already ?

What is it, 15 minutes in and already in a position where a draw is perhaps the best we can hope for, this is bullshit.

Jordan Rhodes also ? Just for good measure. Easy to say "let's get back into this", but confidence has been significantly eroded in recent fixtures.

Sounds like we are being taken apart at the moment. Could end up like the Reading result if it continues.

We're actually ahead in terms of possession and have created nearly as many chances as the opposition thus far so there's still reasons for optimism. We seem to be responsible for a number of fouls however.

McCarthy needs to sort something out at the interval that's for sure.

I always fancy us to get one back but Two ? Even me, the eternal optimist knows this is a forlorn hope.

Sears and Murphy are our leading attackers but they have drawn a blank for the first 45. Pitman is obviously capable and then you have McGoldrick so expect McCarthy to introduce at some stage of the second period.

Is anyone at the game today ? Is it as bad as the scoreline suggests or can we really expect to get anything out of this ?

Why do you take pleasure and gloat when things are going wrong ? OK have an opinion by all means but to enjoy us struggling is not what I call supporting the team. It's as if you couldnt wait for us to be beaten today, you couldnt get on here soon enough, thats what I meant by some fans would be happy !!! I use the term fan lightly.

And just what leads you to suppose that I am taking pleasure or gloating?
You know nothing about me, kindly keep your poison to yourself.
Normally I would be at the game, which is why I'm not usually on the match forum - today I could not get away.
For what it's worth, I don't care tuppence for your opinion in what constitutes supporting the team, I'll support the team in my opwn way thank you very much.
And you are totally out of order questioning my loyalty to the team and the club - it's all just malicious speculation on your part with not an iota of substance in it.
I remember you saying in another post that at least I don't resort to name calling. You're right, I don't, but sh*te like this makes it very difficult not to.

McGoldrick now on so at least plenty of attacking purpose. Edit, Pitman now included.

With all these names involved hopeful a goal will come from somewhere.

Each to their own in they way they want to "support" their team, I just read it as I read it, To even find it necessary to look at the table to see how far we have tumbled down it tells me everything.

When I saw the team sheet my first reaction was oh f**k. Douglas,Toure. MM get a grip we have far better players on the bench. Why play these rejects? :x

In fairness it sounds as though they were no worse than anyone else. We are, I'm afraid, a talentless bunch of headless chickens who lack the basic skills of ball control and passing. Add to that a lack of movement off the ball and you can see why we are doing so badly.

Douglas is pointless - 33 years of age and brings very little to the team in improving it (if anything)..BRU should be on from the start...and bringing Oar with 10 minutes is again pointless...it will do nothing for his fitness and he can really do nothing in 10 mins...he might be lucky to get 5 touches of the ball...MM is eroding my support for him quite rapidly presently...no plan B , same players and same issues game after game..his team selection needs a shake up or it seems to be more dire to watch football is on the cards..sory to sound down but that certainly what i see for us at the moment  ..with a season that held real hope for a decent one even in the way we play (if not promotion..which i thought was / is beyond us to be fair)

Fair point. Easy to point at indivuals - but I saw Douglas to provide cover in the midfield. Maybe 10 games in a season to cover and to add a bit of experience late in games. But the Skuse/Douglas midfield partnership seems to MM's preferred choice. Same as the defence.... Parr was only brought in because Knudsen was ill.
I really think MM has done great things at this club on a relative shoe-string, but his blind stubbornness and loyalty to certain players is getting tiresome.
Don't take nothing for granted or expect to win every game.... but same old, same old.
We've got a better squad... why not learn from these games and make changes.... add a bit of spark!!!! Teams know we're slow at the back and in central midfield.
MM needs to be a bit more of a tinkerman.... the team is stale.

Expected a defeat, but when James said it'd be played in the Barcelona outfit, thought, "might win this, Sears hatrick, two from Murphy, one from McGoldilocks, and a clean sheet for the Pickle."

DAMN! Not to be.

I fear a meltdown on this forum is just around the corner if MM doesn't return the club to winning ways.

Work it out, TC & Choo Choo.
