Re: Anyone seen this Toon twitter
That is stupid to be fair, it is a split second clip, I bet you I could do that with every player from every game played this weekend.

You need to stop going on that site. This is candidate for complete Shyte thread of the year.

Re: Anyone seen this Toon twitter
well it's gone viral on twitter and was from a Newcastle fan not a disgruntled Town fan.

Your quite right Liz, there's always someone ready to shoot you down before they know the true outcome provider, besides going by that short film dougie and chambo could do with losing some weight lol

Re: Anyone seen this Toon twitter
The only consolation was that it was only a 45 second clip.

Not shhoting you mate just saying that it is nonsense as every player would be caught like that at some point of any game.hallamblue wrote:well it's gone viral on twitter and was from a Newcastle fan not a disgruntled Town fan.

1/ I'm definitely not shooting the messenger...... I'm jokingly reminding you that I've already said in the past, "PLEASE, stop going on that BS site!"...... (Should've added a smiley) ..... All clubs have these sites, even Hibs and it's a damn bigger site than the TWTD thing. Full of "managers".
And 2/...... The trouble with the entire effin planet these days...... Utter nonsense like that clip, going viral. It's very sad.
Hallam, you yourself should know that that clip means nothing.

I have to agree with you Marko and the very reason I tend not to get to involved in that site is that I don't have to read stuff like that.

Re: Anyone seen this Toon twitter
Touch of fan site snobbery creeping in?! Phil Ham, who runs TWTD, is a good guy who enjoys recognition and support from both the Club and Suffolk Radio. Inevitably, with a far larger user population, it attracts a similarly huge spectrum of views and opinions - from the measured and sensible, to the hysterical and barking.
So reassuring, then, to know that all is as it should be! (We go for quality over quantity, and attract a far superior breed of poster).
. Or is that just being snobbish?

Re: Anyone seen this Toon twitter
Understand what you mean, Herford......., but there is world of difference between football snobbery and recognising wind & pish.
What I do not like about the TWTD site is the "follow the leader" type of posting. I've read some really good stuff on the site, but (in my opinion) over half is Shyte. And when Shyte is posted, the amount of people who jump on the bandwagon is incredible. Again, I speak of other larger sites, not just TWTD.
And before anyone cracks a wise one; yes I'm aware that I post some incredible Shyte, but I genuinely try and keep that to a minimum when actually speaking about football.
