I don't see Pennington playing tomorrow unless of course Bree is on the bench.
As Lambert has stated this loan situation us an enforced attempt at a quick fix and certainly not the way he intends to go in the future.
Did MM say the same previously also? It would seem the younger lads will be the core of next season with a good few buys. We probably need 8-10 new signings, I can't see the club being able to stretch ti that financially.
Caption; fan shows he has the stomach for the impending relegation battle.

Yes Lambert has indeed said exactly that, whether the financial constraints he has to work under allows him to do things exactly as he wants is another thing but I do think next season we will see far less loan players at the club.

I like the Midfield with Bishop on but don't get why Chalobah isnt starting as best player last week. Glad Quaner is in too. As individuals I like Toto and Pennington but no experience and a debutant too ??? Worried now, god I hope I'm wrong but defeat on the cards.

Sky App quote:
Remains to be seen if Paul Lambert will include Jonas Knudsen in his squad after a move away failed to materialise.”
End quote.
Unreal that NO ONE has been interested throughout the month of January. Not even a League One or maybe Danish first division team? The laddie was ok left of centre in a back 4 formation. Can’t believe no one snapped him up. Think he’s been advertised wrong. He really is not a good left back / wing-back but could’ve been a decent addition to someone.

I can't argue with you I was surprised Trev was on the bench.

What’s the news on Collins & Chambers absence, and furthermore not on the bench either, are they injured, sick, or simply dropped from the squad. ?

Supposedly they have slight knocks, nothing too serious though

65 minutes gone and not a shot on target, wtf is going on in a game we have to win. I know stats don’t tell all but surely we have to be shooting at goal, or forcing corners if we’re pushing on to score and it looks like we’ve only had one of those.

I’m off out too. The season just gets more pathetic each week. I like Paul lamber, but he has had zero effect on results. There has been no bounce and I can’t see another point this season..... truly pissed off. League one will be a tough gig for this bunch of players unless we start with a bang

Cold, wet, pissed off, fed up, jarred, f*cked off to the max, angry, upset, livid, frustrated, that's just the good points. Why can't this f**king season end now.

That result has really pissed me off. PL has made no difference to the results since he has taken over. So what is going on. There is something seriously wrong. He keeps telling us we are playing well but we are not. Losing has become a habit. Stop talking bollocks PL and start winning football matches.

I'll repeat, PL is a decent manager, not a great one. He does not have the knack of having his teams eke out points in tight situations. For all his faults that is something MM was brilliant at. That inability to salvage something from these kinds of matches is what will send us down.

Sir Alex Ferguson would have trouble winning with this team.. Honestly its the worse Ipswich team i have seen since first game back in 1973..
PL inherited a poor team simple as. Just before they scored we had possibly our best chance, Header from centre of goal saved and i don't think their keeper had to move. it was a header from Keane..

Not sure “pub” was the wisest of choices. The Leeds game is on and there is no access to a tv remote controller.

At 3 o’clock every Saturday I’m going to strip off, dip my nuts in gravy and tease some dogs at the local dog park. Having them ripped to pieces would be more enjoyable than this pathetic excuse of a season.

I honestly didn’t think we would stay up after millwall, but I was at least hoping for some fight, a bit of excitement and some bravado. Going down with a whimper and possibly the lowest points total ever isn’t what I expected
