Who said that?

A place to chat about anything thats not football related. Most of the threads in here are completely pointless which is why people keep coming back and back. As the forum title suggests, feel free to make any post you want on any subject you wish. It also has Adult jokes (so be warned) which is the other reason people keep coming back.

We’re taking an intermission. I dub the delay a WST CHARNWOOD PAUSE. His wife will tell you she’s familiar with the pause. Perhaps he can give us a few clues in between visits to his Spanish villa... :lol:

I know Charny likes to spend a lot of time on the greens. Could it be Jack Nicklaus?

Now we don’t know this for sure. He might like spending a lot of time bush whacking in the rough?

Maybe not mate, I dunno! But if Sampras won 7 Wimbledon’s in his 50s then that’s incredible! :D

Spot on No 9, apologies for the intermissions but just been a bit busy this week. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays always busy but even more so this week, what with a broken bloody boiler in the middle of winter, why oh why can’t boilers give up the ghost in the summer, I’m sure Marko knows, Just Lucky it’s warm here in Spain at the moment, daytime at least.

No 9, well done, over to you.

I don't know that, could be anyone give or take. Say Joan Rivers but it's too vague for further analysis.

The quote was made by a man related to football, eg, owner, manager, player, pundit, referee etc....former or current.

It wasn’t either Roy Keane or Sir Bobby Robson.

Two more clues;

1) There is no connection to Ipswich Town.

2) The person we’re looking for was born after Sir Bobby Robson and earlier than Roy Keane.

Okay let's see how long it takes for someone to get this quote.

Thought at first Constable but timeline eliminates it. Maybe Robert Hoskins the late actor. Believe born in East Anglia and a more suitable age.

Keep losing time and f**king internet connection and can do no more. Drop by at a later time when more convenient.
