Paul Cook caption, (he’s in the Red Robin before kick off) .....

“Whaaaat? A f**king Mojito? You’ll have a f**king pint o’ lager like everyone else! Now get your f**king nipples out.”

Good to see the preview thread on page 2. Didn’t expect that for crappy Wigan.

I'm hoping for the win. In fact there better had be a win!

My eldest sidled up to me a few weeks ago and much to my surprise 'insisted' that we attend and as he is bigger than me who was I to argue!!

I have faith that it is not all going to end in tears and we will witness the start of a great comeback
Do you want to meet up for a beer with myself and Bluemike Todd?
Not sure of arrival time yet. Will be coming by car as needing to be somewhere else later in the day, but I am sure we will make it in good time to hit the stadium bar, so absolutely yes.

Caption. I just can't think of anything clean, but she looks great in Blue pity she is not from Ipswich ⚽

I'm going for a 1-0 win I just can't see us scoring any more than one.

Great preview as always thanks, I cant see us scoring and our defence has been poor all season and i think we will be found wanting when questions are asked Again. 3-1 Wigan which will please my best mate (Wigan fan obviously).

Tòo right. Out of his pocket before their player had even hit the deck!

Need to keep pushing them 2nd half and not try to defend deep. Wigan are poor and are there for the taking if we want it more.

FECKIN KNUDSON, WHAT A ****!!!!!!. i never use that word but im bloody livid. Too good to play for town and wants to leave, nobody wants him which imo in no surprise. Come back into squad due t needs must. First game, gifts a goal, second game gets sent off. I never want to see him in a town shirt again.

The performances for the last few games have been heartening even though, with results elsewhere, we are still effectively ten points adrift (given goal difference disparity).

We are going down, but I am more hopeful that we can bounce straight back up than I was at the start of January.

Not sure if anyone else who saw it agrees, but our job got so much harder in the 2nd half after Keane went off.

He was running and running and was an effective out ball to relieve some pressure - Jackson was none of that. To say he was powder puff would be too polite. Nothing about the lad said I will give my all for the cause - he was weak and gave us nothing.

As Mike says, gutted.

Chambo at the end looked finished - he was visibly upset by that late goal.

We deserved more.

I think the Wigan manager said it all..

"Ipswich started the game very well, they came with an attacking intent, but the sending off had a big influence on the game.

"You felt at that point that the likelihood was that we should go on and win the game, and Ipswich getting the goal very quickly, it was set up that Ipswich would defend very deep and narrow, and rightly so.

"It frustrated us for long periods, I didn't feel we looked like scoring to be truthful, so the goal came as a massive relief, but Ipswich must take great credit out of the game because I thought they were excellent.""

I haven't seen anything yet but if the Ref got the sending off wrong then it adds to the harsh decisions gone against us this season

Whether it was right or wrong to send Jonas off these sending offs this season really have hit us, how many is that now?

Great day except for the result once again. Sending off was soft, as was our penalty to be fair but if the ref had balls, if it was a pen, their man should have gone as well - just no consistency. To lose Keane is a big blow - he was doing so well today. The team played so well and put in all of the effort. I was proud of them and equally proud of all of our fans who sang relentlessly as opposed to theirs who banged a drum for the first 5 mins, were quiet as mice for the next 86 mins and then made noise for the last 3 mins! With 11 men we would have beaten them with ease but this is just not our season I am afraid. With away support like that though, I for one am looking forward to away days in league 1. Home games will improve too if we start to win so here's hoping! Lovely to shake hands with Bluemike and Derrick (and your good lady) it was a pleasure, chaps. Congrats on the birth of your grand daughter - i would like to say you dont look old enough but.....😂😂 lets hope she grows up a Tractor Girl! Onwards to Reading next week. Keep smiling, All - its nearly over...
