Yeah I’m not sure what that background noise is supposed to be doing. Agree with the Floyd comparison. They’re a local band who never really made it big, but I like the sound. I love the clip from the Dallas Public Library...brilliant!

Check out that same song live @ Rock in Rio, Ohio. Bruce’s lung capacity on the last word...... even Nicko is shocked!

That was brilliant. The venue, the light show, the older Pink Floyd stuff. Never seen the Gilmour Pompeii concert before. Thanks for posting. Will now go watch some "Comfortably Numb" from the same gig.

Really enjoyed that. I played the original to death in my student days. It was often featured with an animation video on Old Grey Whistle Test at he time.

Holy Hell, that was great. Reminds me of an old Guns N Roses demo I had on tape somewhere.
Great stuff, guys.

Re: What are you listening to?
Having given up my job as unpaid plumbers mate for my son, I've started writing maths books again. (What a saddo!) Listening to my music collection on random play, Roy Buchanan has just come on. Such a good guiariat but apparently a bit of an arsehole. Died in very strange circumstances. In police custody for being drunk, supposedly hanged himself from a hook about 2 feet high. I wouldn't trust the American police to wipe my arse.
Danny Hatton playing now. By coincidence he and Roy Buchanan used to play guitar licks down the phone to each other.
Next up....Martin Taylor. A great jazz guitarist. Seems to be a guitar filled afternoon.

Hopefully, only care workers in the home will be wiping my arse. Having said that, recent stories about care workers in some homes has made me rethink potential future messy situations concerning my arse.

Listening to Tommy Emmanuel now. Aussie guitarist. Seen him live 2 or 3 times. He can play anything. Any style. Acoustic or electric. Technically superb.

An Independent Online article flashed up on my phone. Quote: Best Eurovision in living memory. End Quote. Leaning more towards unadulterated shyte myself.

Re: What are you listening to?
While my wife heads off to Portman Road to see Rod Stewart, I'm off to the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket to see Jeffrey Lewis. Seen him 4 times before, always brilliant. He also draws his own comic books. A New Yorker.....I can't see how the tours cover the flight costs.

Re: What are you listening to?
I was working downtown Dallas yesterday, and a car blaring rap music drove by(surprise). The lyrics were just, "f*ck Trump, f*ck Trump, f*ck Trump".
