If I had any sense I’d run my betting accounts down to zero and give up.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Very true....... it’s a hard thing to accomplish even though it looks easy. But with it only being a small stake, it’s fun. No idea how my bro in law does it, although GnB Wolfies Wolves screwed his bet this week..... as they probably did to most people. The bookies LOVE Wolves & Livingston this morning.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Well Marko I’m not sure how you did today cos I didn’t need look past the first game
I changed to Plan B today and tried to find 4 draws, great odds almost £700 returns for a fiver !
My picks
West Ham 1 v 1 Sheff Utd
Accrington 0 v 1 Gillingham (but close)
Burton 0 v 0 Blackpool
Shrewsbury 1 v 0 Sunderland (but close)
I’ll try this again for a change for a few weeks.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Conspiracy theories, Charnwood. And D!ck Campbell @ Arbroath is in on it. I challenge anyone to correctly predict a W L or D for Arbroath.
Let’s start that next week. Let’s see who can consecutively predict a W L or D for Arbroath. I’ll keep score in this thread.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Now there’s a name in the news this afternoon, came on as a second half sub with some of the crowd booing the substitution....
and then scores two goals in 10 mins to earn a replay at Anfield, no doubt in front of a full house.
Who says there’s no magic left in the FA Cup.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
If there is one thing that fires up wee Jase, it’s booing. Booed by nearly all of the 35 thousand Hibs fans at Hampden after trying to “dink” a penalty in normal time v Dundee United in SC semi...... finished all square...... then had the balls to take the deciding pen...,,,, scores. And sets up first goal in the final which was won.... first one in 114 years. Love wee Jase.

Wouldn't mind him playing at Ipswich, loved his interview after the game,he said he was disappointed not to get a hattrick & commented on his manger knowing his stuff bringing him on to score off the bench

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Yep, and I’ve actually beaten that bet of yours Charny....... few weeks ago I had a bet missed with soccer, NFL, and pre season AFL games. All ’s.
That bet this week, the St.J v Livi draw attempt doesn’t bother me; was close fought 1-0 st.J win...... but Dundee Utd at home, 16 points clear at the top, playing basement boys Patrick, 1-1 draw? Those are the ones that really get on my nerves.
No doubt Rochdale messed up some bets that weekend passed with them winning v Rotherham.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
I’m seriously thinking about stopping betting on football and sticking with “no cost” fun like Prediction leagues etc which I currently play In two of and Fantasy Football. In the past I’ve done quite well at footie betting at worst breaking even but this season has been completely sh*te.

Re: Today’s Footie Bet.
Yeah, I put $200 in my bet365 account each season, that’s my limit. I think it ran out last September from memory.
