There was me just having a break and thinking; "shame we have no Euro 2020 chat" on the forum, open the page and there it is. Well done Marko.
Nice to see the home nations well represented. Interested to see what peoples' thoughts are on eventual winners and teams they would like to see win it
I haven't really given International football much attention for a while, but i think France will be the team to beat. England are spoken of as a new 'golden generation", but the same was said when the likes of Beckham, Scholes etc came through. If England make the final, i feel they will win it. The problem is getting there!
Beyond England, i would like to see the Azzurri win it! Forza Italia.

Yep,

….. Same.
But only after

exit. We’ll be uncontrollably delighted if we just make the knockout stages.

True, but they seem to be going through transition. If I remember correctly, they’ve recently struggled against weak teams.

Azzurri looking very impressive tonight,
Marko we have been given allocated entrance times for each group game involving England and for all 3 mine is 2 and half hours before KO.
Don’t think that will be happening!

As for England if we do happen to win the group can’t see is getting past the last as we will have to play the team who finished 2nd from the group of death.

With England I’ve never seen so many good attacking player’s available . We can’t get them all into our team.. But i don’t know if we have decent enough defensive players. It’s like a 180 from earlier tournaments when we had so many solid players but lacked real attacking class.
Get a draw from Croatia to start of with and see how it goes from there.

Very good attacking performance from Italy. Their stats coming into this Championship tend to offer hope to their fans; 29 unbeaten and clean sheets in their last 7 i believe. Certainly could watch that type of performance, as dished out against Turkey, again. Very pleasing on the eye.

Being played at different venues all over Europe, what the f*ck is that about. Should be one host country and nothing more, all right they've gone with something different but just appears a mess, disorganized and put together in a hurry by someone who didn't quite know what they were thinking.
Years back would have participated or shown an interest in "tournaments" of this nature but not so much now. Would like the damn thing over and then you can prepare for domestic action back with Town, that's where the real interest or motivation lies. Not going to tie a pretty bow round it and back slapping all round that would be entirely incorrect. Even the Irish aren't a part of it, just lost interest fast somewhere along the line. There's other factors also that have tarnished what's available. sh*t best left unsaid.
Team hope to win, would root for, Spain.
Team probable winners at the end of it, Belgium.

Saint, someone could give you a $1000 and you’d complain that the bills were of mixed amounts.

Its ok Saint. I’d be pensive too if our manager walked out on his club.

After a year and a half of lockdowns and Covid, you can’t get “up” for this tournament, Saint? Wow.
Hopefully the Italian style last night managed to change that negative attitude. Was a very entertaining game of football.

Very true.
Hoping you guys get the 3 points tomorrow. 1 point (or zero points) will definitely up the effort for next Friday.

Absolutely sickening and why did they have to keep cameras on him?
Pray that he is ok.
