Maybe those numbers contributed to the poor quality of some of the streaming which only settled down in the second half.

Yep mine was perfect, if you are using VPN that might be the issue - I’m sure your set up was not ‘standard’ shall we say.

Absolutely - it doesn't matter what your internet connection speed is (even 1 Gigabit +), if you are running through a vpn then your transfer speeds will be governed by that. Most vpn's - especially those whose function is primarily to disguise a location - run at very slow speeds, in many cases not even fast enough for basic streaming.

I’ll check to make sure my VPN is switched off for the next game as that could well be the issue, that said I have read on on the Towns Fans Facebook page that there were many others having problems viewing. It certainly won’t be internet speed with 1000Mb Fibre.

All those people who don't pay the £10 to ifollow and stream free through other dodgy means, I hope there viewing is rubbish. They are robbing the club of much needed resources. (Im not implying anybody is doing that on here).

Im pretty sure they do pay iFollow. It’s just they use a VPN so as appear to be located outside the UK and then they pay their cash. No-one is getting this free. If you live outside the UK, you can get access for the Saturday matches on iFollow. We’re getting good attendances so anyone using this method and fooling the system isn’t really harming the club. It’s probably added revenue.

Christ you’re a bundle of bloody laughs aren’t you !
People still pay the ifollow fee . But using a vpn means they can access Sat games b eg cause using a vpn uses a different IP address from that of your own so it appears to are a customer watching a game from abroad .
For the life of me I don’t know why ifollow don’t allow us based fans to tune it … they’re missing a trick frankly !

Disagree, the amazon chipped fire stick you can get free everything. And yes I am a bundle fun depending whose company I'm in.....maybe not yours.

“You’re a bundle of fun “… says who exactly, you?
And not sure I’m too worried about being in your company specifically either, lol !
Use of of Amazon fire stick ;
To my knowledge you’d still have to “ login” to ifollow and pay to gain access to the game being shown . I dont know because I use a vpn and still pay.

Can you watch every game home and away? Regardless of kick off time?

Yes, but only If you live outside the UK. Or you use a VPN to make it look like you do. Except FA Cup and the Carabou Cup games - which never affects us anyway and softens the blow of watching us lose Barrow.

Anyone living outside the UK or inside the UK using a VPN can watch every game regardless of the kick off time which I guess is what Hallam does, however I suspect those of us watching using a VPN are the ones complaining about buffering. Yesterday without the VPN was the next best thing to being in the ground although of course ifollow will never be able to match the coverage of the mega Sports Channels line SkySports etc.

The problem for footies fans living overseas is being able to watch almost every top flight game played almost anywhere. Fortunately I discipline myself to only watch a couple of games over the weekend and a couple mid week. If you’re selective what games you watch at least you get to see how the game should and can be played, some of which is very entertaining.
