This is exactly right, we have punched way above our station last season and again this season when you look at the resources at our disposal. When you look at some of the teams we were up against in the play offs last time around and where they have been this season it shows we have stood our ground while they have gone backwards, Brentford and Wolves are two that spring to mind.goldandblack wrote:its not easy to get to grips on how things seem to change so quick.clubs likes our walk a fine line,, Blue, there's clubs coming down now with big budgets, plus your Middlesboro's, Derby's etc .The Towns position in this league is far higher than some clubs with bigger budgets.bluemike wrote:Thanks for comfirming what I pretty much already knew G&B, we really do have to be careful what we wish for where the manager and owner are concerned. The sitaution could be a Thousand times worse than what it is now.
we have good manager in Kenny Jacket, but injuries plus our owner walking away produces the crap we are playing.(you saw it for yourself a couple of weeks ago at the Mol.)
there's always NEXT SEASON. when we both will rule the World again,
I accept when Town fans moan about the quality of football over the last couple of months, nobody with half a brain cell can do otherwise, I will however argue forever and a day that MM should go, to me that is bullshit and bordering on self destruction, he has played out the season what he has available to him and to what he believes are those players strengths. As most of us know to lose Bishop, Fraser and Didsy for a large majority of the season robbed Mick of all the creativity he had, and most forget we also had Jonny Parr wanting to return home while Tommy Oar came up with a Million and One reasons why he wanted away, I don't want anyone telling me losing those Five players from your plans hasn't made a massive difference to our season becasue they would be talking bull.
