Ipswich manager Joe Royle:
"We've given the ball away on the edge of our area because we were trying to play 'Total Football' and from there they got their equaliser.
"Defensively, I thought we coped well with Coventry's major attacking asset - which is their height - but two minutes of slack defending cost us.
"Once we begin defending seriously we will be a force to be reckoned with."
1 We have been playing total football for ages now. The number of times i see Town players pratting around with the ball, at both ends of he pitch is unbvelievable. FFS Kick the ball out if your defending , dont pass it across the 6 yard box and when your attacking have a shot, whats the worst that could happen ?
2 Once we begin defendeing seriously ? How many years have you been here royle ? How many years have we been saying this for now ?
