Joe - Diving Training May Start
Having seen a copy of the Sun this morning, Joe has said he is considering starting training players to dive in traning sessions because he feels we are being victimised by referees.
As he said, if we can't beat them, perhaps we should train to join them.

yes it would BB ... but I had to alugh at his comment - got to admit JR has got a very dry sense of humour. Dont know that I'd have "admitted" in the media to such a training practice though - cos if any Town player does go down in the box today - sods law says ref will say it was a dive and not give it !!bluebird wrote:Wouldn't it be more constructive to train them how to close down the opposition and actually get a fooking foot in!

CARRY ON JOE ! - YOU'RE DOING A GRAND JOB !!

FFS!
Joe pull your f**king neck in you tw*t!
Are you seriously trying to tell us that the ONLY reason we are where we are in the table is down to dodgy refs?
How about getting some of your overpaid jessies to learn some of the footballing basics...tackling, passing, shooting etc before going on to the complexities of diving!

This is a very valid point, there is a good reason why the most attacking teams seem to get the most "dodgy" decisions, it's because they get into the box more times than other teams and creat the opportunity to get given these decisions more than other teams.azbedwell wrote:That assume a town player gets in the box today!cos if any Town player does go down in the box today - sods law says ref will say it was a dive and not give it !!
I didn't hear Royle complaining last season when Darren Bent was falling over an awful lot in the oppositions penalty area.
