Cameron Stewart is reported to have won his compensation claim against his former loan club Leeds United for unpaid wages relating to his 3yr contract with the club which was agreed would be effective at the end of his loan deal.
Their new president Massimo Cellino refused to sign what was a binding contract entered into by the previous owners.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, sources close to Stewart have revealed that the 24-year-old will receive at least £500,000 in compensation from the Elland Road club.
The matter went to an FA arbitration hearing last month with Stewart claiming the West Yorkshire club owed him £800,000 in unpaid wages, the difference between the cash he is being paid at Town and the higher sum he would have received under his Leeds deal.
More than enough cash to buy a decent house and a nice new car. Well done fella.
Nice one Cameron!

They owed him £800,000 in unpaid wages, wow... No wonder he pursued this.

It was the difference in wages between the 3yr contract he signed with Leeds United & the 3yr contract he signed with Town. Approximately £5k per week difference.

Perhaps he should give it to MM to strengthen the squad ?
That would make him a major investor in the club and be more than ME gave MM last year
After all it,s money he did not have.
