Not one for starting threads but after today, reading a few posts on here, and on those other places........., my God! The monotony is overwhelming. And it's nothing at all to do with you fans, so keep your wigs on.
Mevans....., f**king boring as f*ck chairman who doesn't show face, and, if the truth were known, couldn't give two shits about the club. And now Mick McCarthy? The press conferences are the same f**king boring wind & pish every week and it's jumping on everyone's tits. And he's just ambling along!
Ok, under Paul Jewells management the team was sh*t, but at least Paul shagged a few prostitutes and gave us all a laugh and something to talk about. Roy Keane, a walking hardon of a man but at least he was in the post match interviewers faces a few times and falling out with people, and promising league titles.
It's fast becoming extremely boring now. Get the starting 11 the f*ck changed,......., Mick, Fk off and give someone else a go........, and Mevans, do the right thing, and get f**king convicted of SOMETHING so we here at TB.com can talk about you bending over for the soap.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk!
The most boring ITFC era, ever!

Re: The most boring ITFC era, ever!
Yes, it is boring. Hey, we've had 2-0, 0-3 and 2-2 in the last 3 games! Not binary score lines.... is that the sign that's something's about to turn... either very good or very bad.
if this club is a soap opera ... it's more like early Emmerdale Farm (with Mr Wilks and Amos Brearly) or Take The High Road than some modern-day soap with murders, all-sorts going on...just doing the same week in, week out.
Bit of Breakback Mountain going on with Mick and Chambo " I wish I know how to quit you" .... that's unfair... good blokes, but if ME can't give us anything new or even care about this club then what does he expect.

Yes, this is mainly my point ------> Not the playing side of things, as that's reported on to the Nth degree and everyone knows the deal.tangfastic wrote:if this club is a soap opera ... it's more like early Emmerdale Farm (with Mr Wilks and Amos Brearly) or Take The High Road than some modern-day soap with murders, all-sorts going on...just doing the same week in, week out.
But behind the scenes? God it's turning into a nothing club. Something big needs to happen, whether it be a new foreign buyer or a new controversial manager. Not too controversial, but just something to wake everyone the Fk up.

Would that be controversial enough?

Too late now and I know many don't like him but Neil Warnock would have woke the fuckers up and given us some fun along the way.

Re: The most boring ITFC era, ever!
I'd love to hear at least a bit of discontent from MM regarding lack of funding. A dig at ME at least. All I hear is that everything is OK and Marcus talks to me on a daily basis, bla, bla, bla.... just seems there is an air of too-much contentment there... just keeping on doing the same old thing.
Never want a circus-act owner, but ME has got to start making some kind of statement. Would prefer a fractiousness relationship with the manager where those two are at least demanding more from each other .. .more money / better results , etc. Just too cosy and the expectation that fans will keep on turning up.
Of all the three managers that ME has appointed, there has always been a quiet loyalty to them - until its too late and they have to be fired. I always felt that was a decent thing that the owner would be loyal and quietly keep in the background - but now it feels like indifference. Can't see ME coming out of hiding now as he's probably bigger problems with his business and keeping his liberty.
A bit of hand-bags between ME and MM might stir things up a bit.
