Even as a Hibs fan (including the 5-1 cup defeat in 2012) ….. dont think i’ll ever know what that type of capitulation feels like. Bet Partick fans were ordering season tickets from their phones at HT yesterday

All some recognize them for is thumping a very (usually) competent or efficient Celtic team back in '71 to win a Cup Final. Illustrious name such as Rob Murdoch, Gemmell, Dalglish and Johnstone were put to the sword in a score that reverberates to this day. Hell Celts very nearly became Champions of Europe the year before.
Every dog has it's day and back then Thistle took first prize at Crufts although in the years since, not much else with it.
