I've just read KMs comments on TWTD in absolute despair.
He says there are far more positives than negatives to take away from the game.
He says that if you analyse that game logically and objectively, there were lots of positives.
Logically and objectively for me are words that sum up our whole approach - sterile.
More positives than negatives, Kieron? Really?
Because I can see only one f*cking great negative - we lost at home to a relegation rival.

I have to agree, I admire much of what he's done and what he says and what we've achieved but please don't insult my intelligence.

What we can say unequivocally is that we are incapable of beating the teams around us.....and I'm absolutely positive about that!

I don't really watch post match interviews as it's all just politician talk. He's not going to lay in to his players and I often agree with the positives he points out too... but at some point you've just got to call a spade a spade!

Re: More Positives Than Negatives Last Week
The Southampton score was thus far the nadir of the season, there can't be too many other candidates. To surrender an expected victory with home advantage to that opposition is not acceptable. Maybe McKenna was just trying to rouse some enthusiasm after the chaos and viewing positives where others couldn't find them but would rather he told it how it were instead of attempting to sugar-coat the truth.
Last week were bullshit, it were totally unacceptable and an embarrassment for everyone associated with the club name but at least today we kind of redeemed ourselves and gave something back to the fanbase. Not sure how you can lose at home to the easiest opponent in a league then score a four goal victory on an away trip the following week but we'll allow it rest.
