I can’t believe Wednesday hit the post with a thunderous shot with the last kick of the game. That would have been a killer blow for Town and Barnsley. On reflection a fair result given the performance of both teams.

2-2, can't really grumble about that, another 2 points Wednesday have dropped and is that 4 without a win?
Well done Cheltenham.
Yes 4 without a win, 10 points dropped from the last 4 games.

Gosh what an insane period its been since we last played!

Would settle for a point on sat but a win would be massive now. The league is fascinating right now!

Although they have dropped another 2 points the one they gained tonight from being 2 down could turn out to be really big for Wednesday come the end of season. They may have now played a game more than us but as is often said it’s better to have the points in the bag. The game on Saturday against Derby is huge for us and we really can’t afford to fall further behind points wise.

If we win at Derby, I’ll certainly start believing automatic is still on the cards. I just hope we come out kicking again after the break. I’d like to be as confident as others, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

As Shed said that late goal and 1 point was huge for Wednesday tonight and our run in is far from straightforward. That said if we can keep our run of winning games going we’ll sure give ourselves a chance.

Another awful result for Wednesday, irrespective of the comeback it's woeful form, 2 points from 12 is not promotion form at all.

Don’t read too much into that result Mike Wednesday looked awesome in the second half and can count themselves very unlucky not to have come away with all three points.

Fortunately for us and others involved in the race for promotion Wednesdays most recent past results almost certainly affected their confidence and Cheltenham took advantage of it with a splendid first 45 mins of football not seen from them before this season however they couldn’t keep it up and ran out of steam, energy and concentration.

Unfortunately that comeback will give them a huge lift whereas had Cheltenham clung onto all 3 points we could probably have all but written them off. Town still have a lot to do and we still need Wednesday to drop more points if we’re going to overhaul them. This is almost certainly going to the wire.

Good performances count for nothing as we know only too well, its all about results now and they aren't currently getting them.

7 straight wins for town and no wins in 5 for Wednesday. Who would have expected that.

That’s 12 points made up over Wednesday over the last 5 games.

For the first time in a while we’re in complete control of our own destiny and no longer dependent on others dropping points.

Good Friday fixtures are strange as Tiwn are the only team in the Top 9 to have a home fixture. How strange is that.

Exactly, we MUST beat Wycombe though or yesterday counts for nothing.

Owlstalk is hilarious right now, suddenly the egotistical, cocky arse big mouths ain't quite so gobby, more disbelief at how they are imploding after having the job done (their view). Now they think it's play offs lol

Ipswich are going up. For me its a stick on. Best team in the league with the best coach.
Hit form at the right time and will go up as Champions.

Plymouth are doing well lol, currently 0-3, they look absolutely woeful against a team we took apart recently. How damaging could this defeat be ?

Plymouth seen to be missing 3 or 4 regulars in todays line up. Any idea if these are injury related or saving players for their promotion campaign. It just seems strange to deprive players of an opportunity to play at Wembley which for most is a chance of a lifetime at this level, especially when this is their only fixture for the 18 days between 21 March and 7 April.

Plymouth are absolute crap, Bolton are turning the screw now 4-0 and is much the better side, I hope Plymouth go on a bad run in the league now

This is great, hoping Plymouth go on melt down now, if things do go wrong for them in the League which is likely then us and Barnsley to go up, that would be fantastic.

Plymouth, Sheff Wed's, Bolton and Peterborough for the playoffs.

Just been across to the SW forum to see what they are saying and alot say the team has run out of steam.
The injuries to top players out now and backup players not up to the same level.
A few a saying Luongo is a big plus for OUR side a moment .

At the time I just didn’t understand the Luongo signing but for me he’s been the stand out surprise because he’s taken so much weight off Morsy’s shoulders and allowed him to step up to an even higher level and improve his self control.

Without Luongo I’m pretty certain Morsy would have got banned and missed 3 big recent games and possibly Town dropped points with his absence.

Another well done to McKenna and Ashton.

For the little w*nkers I shared a train with after our game against Plymouth, I hope you enjoyed your big day out, giving it large and trying to intimidate people will hopefully come back to haunt you, just a bloody shame they almost certainly won't read this.

At the start of this season I was fully wanting Plymouth to get promoted, but as this season has gone on I find their fans arrogant and gobby, and I now hope they totally f uck it up. Wednesday fans are not far behind with the same traits, but at least they’re a bigger club than the sailor boys.

Every team in the Country has its share of w*nkers Liz including ours. That’s the nature of the game unfortunately and has no part to play in promotion or relegation other than when the w*nkers overstep the line and cost their team a points deduction for excessive bad behaviour.

Don't wish to reply to the other thread involving Plymouth but got to say was kind of surprised to see a 4 - 0 setback in that Final thing with Bolton today.

Straight off the bat the competition itself is sub-standard and largely immaterial and couldn't give a crap either way who won it on the day but wondered what kind of team both would have fielded for the Final game. Plymouth are far likely to see a promotion than Bolton could hope for, so imagine the Devon team put out an under strength / lesser squad than usual against their opponents. Such were the eventual scoreline.

They must be acutely aware of Sheffield Wednesday's fall from grace as we are and just put out some kids and threw the game in order to save effort and focus for the greater objective. Just imagine if we had been in their place, no way would select names have played or featured.
