Well they were pants for the first hour but now world beaters so who knows what we will face! Extra time and the 'after the Lord Mayors show' effect may help us!

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
We could do with Coventry winning this and focusing totally on the FA Cup. It’s looking promising.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
That is ridiculous! My view is if you have to draw lines across the pitch to decide if a player is offside, then the attacking player should get the benefit of the doubt!
They should take it as the assistant ref sees it in real time and therein lies the problem with VAR! Infuriating!

...and I just hope those fans who were streaming out when Coventry scored were unable to get back in the stadium!

Today could help us, those events can't possibly have done Coventry any good.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Mike this offside fiasco is going from the sublime to the ridiculous there is no way the Coventry man was offside if your level your onside that was a perfectly good winning goal I didn't see the ref go over to the monitor to check for himself if he had he would have given a goal.
With the final now Man City v Man Utd City will rip this UTD team apart City have a better depth of quality squad

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
Aberdeen / Celtic finished 3 - 3 and went to penalty shoot also in the Scots Semi and while it's not a way to decide any game for everyone it at least provides a certain enthralment for neutrals for one. I feel genuine sympathy for Coventry. Here you got a club name, along with ourselves if you will, where reaching an F.A Cup Semi is a once or twice in a lifetime experience and they thought they'd made it and picked out a fantastic win only for some lousy official to cancel it and in the process, deflate an entire City and just about every neutral that would have been watching on.
Irony is if Manchester had scored the goal they probably would have allowed it to stand and there'd be so debate or confusion but guess it's just another example of the bigger team getting a favorable decision over a lesser one. Coventry can be proud of themselves, arguably greatest Cup game they've been involved with since the Final back in 1987 and provided a heroic comeback and denied an outright victory by some bullshit decision that whether right or wrong, had the opposition scored it there would probably be no appeal to talk of.
We got a league fixture with them real soon but whatever occurs then and right now and for today, can only offer condolences to them in what might have been and giving a performance their fans can take only take immense pride in. Probably would have got whipped by MCFC in the final game but think back to Wigan and all things are possible when the time arises. Respect to Coventry City you can be proud of yourselves.

…and that’s why they can shove VAR, complete injustice against Coventry IMO today. Load of utter bollox.

Re: NON IPSWICH MATCHES
If you take Somerfield out of that Leeds team, they really aren’t anything special are they.
Edit 1-1 penalty.
