I completely agree about wins needed soon, I'm expecting them to start Tuesday! If we don't then concern will start to kick in for sure. Securing that 17th place was always gonna be scary, we will have this all season I'm afraid Tony. And as for the City Ground, from my experiences, sh*t hole.

Another blow from yesterday it looks like Tuanzebe has done his hamstring. Hopefully it is not that bad as the last thing we need is another long term injury.

I think we need a bit of perspective here, that was our first defeat in 4 and if this weeks 2 home games go the way I am expecting them too it will be 1 defeat in 6, that will be pretty good going. Forest have been going very well this season and needed a soft penalty to beat us when we were not at the races. Still very tight around us at the bottom, and looking at the fixtures some of our rivals have tough Decembers
Totally agree with this. Forest have generally started very well and this game was all about very small margins! No rash (have not watched highlights yet, so will assume that's what it was) challenge in the penalty box and that's a valuable point away from home. Of course, with no penalty there's no saying how the game could have played out, as the home team would inevitably wanted to press all the more, rather than sitting deep in the last moments of the game as they did.
Not particularly worried by the result, in context, even if the performance was not so good.

Haven't seen no highlights as yet but guess get round to it soon enough. Kind of flying blind and reading reports and fan reaction although general consensus being we didn't much deserve to take anything from it or it were (another) poor performance from ourselves. Worrying thing is we've got only one victory this season while approaching an end of year. Some would argue whether we've played well for the most part thus far or been unlucky, fact of the matter it's nowhere near good enough or just simple unsatisfactory.

It's absolutely futile expecting McKenna to change our start formation but then the opposition deployed a near identical gameplan. Would be hoping to see say Smodzics and Delap paired together from the start or if not that Broadhead in for the former or why not all three together. Hirst would be naturally featured if were available. Not an ideal solution to a problem but would maybe go some way to generate more wins for the team / goal production etc. It's a pity to beat Tottenham and then very nearly Manchester United right after only to lose to more inferior opposition and with it a largely lousy game by all report and questionable decision that cost us the game. I got to check out highlights when time permits it to ascertain just how dubious it may have been and with it other relevant moments from yesterdays "action". They never seem to show much.

If ever there was a case of needing Hirst's guile, Saturday was it. I think teams are working out how to manage Delap now. We need more firepower. Big January window coming up for reinforcements all over the squad, and a fair players not being used needing to be shipped out now I think.

You done Wordle today, Hallam?

Looking at the highlights, a very bang average, nothing game really wasn't it. Could've been a League One game v Posh.

Not sure about "Delap being worked out" ......, always thought that thinking was just BS. Otherwise there'd never be any McCoists, Shearers, Kanes etc etc. Unless of course it is indeed true and the Priskins and Wickhams prove it.

But nope, Liam Delap hasn't been worked out....., a lad very much in his prime, and as Mike says ---->>> better service, and he'll be banging them in for absolute sure. And everyone would be onboard thinking that today if Onana hadn't won MOTM last week.

Maybe he didn't get the service because Forest has worked out how to minimise his threat? Which is exactly what I'd said to a friend about stopping Gorest. Starve Woods of the ball and they're not a threat.

At least we didn't play their women's squad. Forest ladies picked up a 19 (nineteen) - 0 victory over their opponents this past weekend. It were the biggest score of this seasons competition thus far and guess somehow, unlikely to be surpassed.
