Re: Other matches.
And PSG quickly went 2-0 down....., but within 7 minutes were level at 2-2. That is a completely different "sport", never mind just a level.

It’s a funny old game, Hull City 3-0 up against Sheffield Utd at Bramall Lane!

If that's a red card I should walk away from football, I absolutely hate this league

sh*t league sh*t refs and just a bore fest. The only thing that this league is driven by is money - pure and simple it is so f**king depressing...

Re: Other matches.
Could do with a Spurs win now, but they look decidedly flaky again….. whilst Leicester are look8m* aggressive and much more up for it.

Agree the Spurs defence is awful with all the injuries they have.

Watching them both gives me confidence that we can beat them both in the second half of the season…

1-2 Leicester and I’m not a bit surprised…..
I can see them scoring more unfortunately, spurs look a spent force

Leicester currently showing how to manage a game. Can't see Spurs scoring here now.

Last 7 league games
Newk utd 4-0
Wolves 3-0
Liverpool 3-1
Man City 2-0
Villa 2-1
Palace 2-0
Fulham 2-0
They’re not “managing” anything, Hallam. Van Nistel-No-Joy will be out in a few months just like (possibly) The Messiah through fan pressure.

Re: Other matches.
Don't think Spurs can risk a relative rookie for their next manager.
Also by next season when Spurs will have their new manager, and Man Utd have theirs already, they'll be less likely to come calling for KMcK, so that's two off the tick list of potential suitors for KMcK

When you earn £5m a year, Marko, fan pressure doesn't come i to it - they operate on a different level. If he cared what the fans thought, he would not be as intransigent as he is! Again, don't want him to go but if he doesmarko69 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 5:17 pm“GET YOUR POSITIVE FOXES RESULTS RIGHT HERE….. FOR ONE DAY ONLY……. Vs AN INJURY RIDDEN SPURS……. WHILE STOCKS LAST!”

And the sad thing is despite that wretched run we are still below them.marko69 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 5:17 pm“GET YOUR POSITIVE FOXES RESULTS RIGHT HERE….. FOR ONE DAY ONLY……. Vs AN INJURY RIDDEN SPURS……. WHILE STOCKS LAST!”

Still think Spurs will try for Iraola or Frank before McKenna.

Re: Other matches.
The main concern is that Leicester have lost 7 of their last 8 and we have still not been able to get ahead of them. I’m not even sure that we will get 3 points next Saturday. As has been said before we have to do the job ourselves and not rely on other teams doing us a favour.

Re: Other matches.
My (unasked for, i realise that) advice is to take it to the next ITFC AGM. Express these woes to whoever the club send to the meeting. Mashton & KMcK hopefully could both be there.
Maybe they’ll explain that their 5 point plan is the points total for February.
In all seriousness though……. I suppose Southampton, Leicester, Wolves & Ipswich are all “managing” the best they can in this tough league.
It’s like asking a guy to guide Falkirk next season to finish second in the SPL.

Re: Other matches.
That's exactly right Marko, no doubt in my mind they are all doing their best and working their backsides off, the problem is quite simply the Premier League, the disparity is too much to cope with, yes of course you get the odd Nottingham Forest but by and large it's a forlorn task.
We worked wonders the last Two seasons but are victims of our own rapid success, its abundantly clear we came up a season or Two too early, obviously you take it when it comes but the job becomes even harder. The club wasn't ready for it, Kieran McKenna wasn't ready for it and the majority of our players are not good enough for it, that's the top and bottom of it.
It just makes it unenjoyable, certainly for me, and I suspect thousands of others, add in all the other garbage things the Premier League has to offer and I am feeling exactly as I thought I would about the Premier league and this season.
