if only bought Palmer instead of Muric but in fairness, we can all say what only over lots of things this season
With a quality keeper, perhaps anything could be possible?

Apart from credit to the incredible Delap and sensational Palmer, not going to dissect the pros & cons of this match, just congratulations Ipswich Town on the most unlikely of points. Delighted about that.

the heart and desire is back, hoping the injury isn't to bad Enciso

What a difference a decent keeper makes along Hurst coming back. Need him fit for Hurst of the season also. Thought Hutchinson played lot better second half.

Not seen any other detail than the sending off but that is a flipping absolutely incredible result away from home with ten men.

Is indeed a fantastic result. First yellow I feel a bit harsh but no doubt the sending off for the second yellow card was deserved. I think Hutchinson had his best game for a while, lots of of the pitch covered. Palmer man of the match, some great saves, the last one where he is going the wring way but claws it behind with his left had was unbelievable. Normally feel a point after being in a winning position is a let down, but feels like a win today with ten men. Uppa towen!!

Seen nothing of the game, no relevant incident or who done what when and where but right off the bat that's a commendable score to take from it. An opposition team likely to finish in a Euro place by end of season and we've prevented them victory in both fixtures, there's a level of pride you can take away.

Good to see Palmer getting a rave review as it can only push Muric further towards an eventual exit but don't as yet know who we fielded today or what subs were available. Start formation needs no enquiry. Tough trip but we traveled there and took a result from it. Only 1 point but they'll be essential by end of season if or when it helps with a survival. Check out what occurred at a later time but all told that's an encouraging result, all that after several demoralizing scores in recent weeks and league action.

If and it is a big if we can put in performances like that in a good few of the games left we will be OK,
Apart from a great performance from Palmer it certainly looks like Townsend is up to playing in the premier especially in the first half when he was excellent.

It gives hope that we can do the double over Spurs next week it really does. I honestly think we'd have won that today without the Red card, we looked the better side.

Also watching the goal back it's hats off to Hutchinson for his part in the goal, super first touch, great ball control and a heck of a cross, but what a finish from Delap, he's gonna be worth mega millions in a year or two.

I think we can safely say weโ€™ve now got our forever GK. Had we signed him at the start of the season, we would probably have been just below midtable now!

โ€ฆโ€ฆ and I still say we can win two of these three games. Villa point was a plus for me today.

Absolutely impossible to watch the game from India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ tonight but I was able to follow it from start to finish albeit with delayed match fupdates. First yellow for Tuanzebe seemed more than harsh but not sure itโ€™s possible to appeal in these situations. Brilliant goal from Delap and by all accounts a great goalkeeping performance from Palmer. Now that must be a first this season, a Town Goalkeeper MOTM. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

McKenna said it was harsh treatment of the " small club" in the PL ... but we've had this crap by refs all season haven't we! I suspect Ashton has already been on the phone to the leader of the refs

It is also nice to have a proper defender at left back. Well done also Mr Townsend ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Superb effort from the Town today. We may still go down but if we can put in that effort until the end of the season then it will certainly be with a fight. Great celebrations at the end between the fans and the players.

What a cracking day out that was! We played so well and also adapted well to the sending off (great to see btw). I thought o'Shea was huge, as was Townsend, Philips and of course Delap but MOM was Palmer. How nice to have a keeper you trust!! Great with ownership of his area and the ball at his feet. I thought the ref gave us nothing all game. The foot in the box to intercept from aphilips at the end was easily missed but pivotal for me. Loved the performance. If we can get 4 points from spurs and man itd, then the s'ton result can be forgotten. Happy now. Fave song of the day "you have to live here - we get to go home' ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

That Phillips interception at the end was indeed Huge Wilf but for much of the game he gave away so much by way of fouls etc and basically put us under pressure so often, doesn't impress me tbh.

I think we look much better defensively with Townsend and Phillips in the team and the later will give no more silly fouls away than Morsy does. Iโ€™d be tempted to start both of these again against Spurs. I feel sorry for Tuanzebe as thereโ€™s no way on earth his first yellow could be justified. What punishment does he get for his red card yesterday ? Is it a one match ban ?

At least yesterdays result will lift the spirits within the team and raise belief that we can make a big challenge for 17th place which would secure our place in the Premier Lesgue for another season.

Yea he does not do himself much justice but I thought he was better yesterday and we certainly play differently with him there than Morsy. I still felt their pace caught us out many times and he was at fault for a few of those instances. I still think Jack Taylor could do with a run of games there but ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

It was a real step forward again yesterday and we need to consolidate it on saturday against a frankly hot and cold Spurs team and then a Man U team in disarray. ๐Ÿคž

The more I watch that save from Palmer at the end the better it gets. He got up so quickly off the ground and then to be able to flick it around the post when the ball was virtually behind him was incredible. Worth the ticket price just to see that.

Caught highlights โ€”โ€”>> thats a โ€œkeeperโ€ in keeper, Palmer. Wow. What a performance.

Great work by Omari down the right but that vision & deft touch from Liam Delap was just sublime. On a par with Dwight Gayles for Hibs against the jambos a few months back. Just incredible. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ

All round fantastic day out for all involved with the club, management, players, fans. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿšœ

Yep - we managed things very well and fully deserved the point.

I'm often criticising KM, but yesterday he got it absolutely right for the second half by switching to what was effectively a 5-2-2.

The difference Palmer makes to the defence is obvious - he should be a nailed-on start for the rest of the season.
Apart from him, I was really impressed by O'Shea and Townsend - even if Davis is fit next week I can't possibly see how KM could leave Townsend out. I hope Ensisco's injury is not too bad, as I though he, too, was excellent. Tuanzebe's 2nd yellow card was stupidity, the first wasn't even a foul let alone a yellow card - nonetheless a one game ban beckons.

Hopefully KM will have noted that Cajuste doesn't seem to perform half as well when paired with Phillips - Phillips does some good work but for me totally spoils it by giving away far too many stupid free kicks, one of which cost us dearly.

But I saw an improvement on the pitch yesterday that I didn't expect to see - keep this up and we may just survive.

That piece is bang on for me, Cajuste looks half the player in that partnership and Phillips is just way too reckless.
