He is so right. I have been saying for years that football is eating itself and like many big cultures that thought they would never die, eventually it will kill itself.

Even now - as a huge footy fan of 60 years, I hate the OL and all it stands for. I find it boring and repetitive even to the point of thinking of cancelling my sky subscription (TNT went last season) as I just don't want to watch it. I never watch England any more either. It is sad but it is a reality. Get the super league and f*ck off is my view. Bring on the Championship! 🍻

You're SO singing from my hymn sheet! Sky exists because people buy their ridiculously overpriced subscriptions. I haven't had sky for over 30 years because of the they way they control our game. I hate them.

I'm REALLY looking forward to next season. It'll be more about the fans than the greed that exists in the circus that is the PL. Bring it on.

Believe some or indeed many weren't quite prepared for a return to top level. The 22 years away from top league action seems to have hindered this seasons progress or ambition. Never imagined back in August we'd only register 3 or 4 victories by this stage of season.

Not only that the frequency of goals conceded are simply sub standard. Defense we got has simply been inadequate to cope with the demands of the EPL but this isn't the first instance of it. I don't necessarily want to drop back to Championship level, not after waiting over 20 years to make it back but its been disappointing for just about everyone involved at Portman Road.

VAR gets in the way, causes a mess if not confusion, we hardly feature or get enough air time on the BBC and perhaps most of all the players we've possessed this season just haven't been of the required standard to properly challenge. You could further elaborate or add extra to it but time must intrude. What we did in 2000 - 01 was unlikely to be duplicated or matched this season, things have changed since then but you thought for a time back last summer the opportunity was there to make another fine impact. Its a shame.
