What a bloody ridiculous thing to say Rossi !!!
Even by your standards that is bollocks, surely
You can see Burton will not stay up this season !!

Re: IPSWICH TOWN FIRST & LAST
Not a great start to the season fixture wise but will be interesting. What really amaze me as how we seem to have Norwich at home for first derby game. Be interesting to know when last time we played them at Carrow Road first

Re: IPSWICH TOWN FIRST & LAST
Or as Saint Arana of the Spiders renamed it a few years back....., The Haribo Cup.
Actually to be more accurate, was probably labelled the Horseshit Haribo Cup that day.
But....., check out that first post in this thread. We're talking genius here!

Re: IPSWICH TOWN FIRST & LAST
I didn't label that, you can chalk that up to some other
Would have provided a more derogatory term but the issue now seems immaterial. Bottom line here we're not going to win it and why are we even entered in for participation. If Bromley or whoever get a first round win over us it'll be kind of embarrassing but in no way surprising.
Trip to Birmingham first up, guess that's a credible start. They're a strong team last season and can't always forget what they did to us there in a League Cup Semi when Burley was in charge and fighting for a Champions League place in top four of EPL at the same time but it's a good enough start. Too bad it has to be moved away from a traditional Saturday start just to accommodate SKY TV but what the hell can you do. Who we got last game, Queens Park Rangers was it. Suppose that's another acceptable position to be in. In theory the team could be in the play-off zone at time of event needing a result to achieve it and it's a winnable fixture all told. Haven't seen the full season list as yet. In truth there's no immediate hurry to do so.

Wish i hadn’t read that before bed. Had to go check.arana peligrosa wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 11:08 pmI didn't label that, you can chalk that up to some other
Was Herforder. Way back in 2017 in a Fulham match preview. Subject of a Crystal Palace “Haribo Cup” game cropped up in the thread.
Tangfastic, (himself a well known Haribo) asked Herforder to refrain……. Battling a sweet tooth issue.
Yep, not you Saint. Horseshit from me as usual.
